we hit a big deer in Lubec, ME in a 1 - ton dually. Our Texas deer are more like large dogs, this thing was a massive doe! It made a massive impression on me. And yet, we are still looking to move to Maine. There's a crazy couple around every corner.

Checking in from Haverhill, MA. Wondering if this large offering is designated in tree growth? In my view, it’s an awesome responsibility to be a good steward of land. I understand if it is in tree growth there would be a bit of a penalty to pay to remove a small slice for an off grid homestead. Fantasizing a small place carved out by that babbling brook. My life is finite but leaving a well managed forest in better condition than one finds it (for the sake of wildlife and preservation) is so very important. Beautiful spot, thanks for sharing!

Yes. I agree with being a good steward in the woods or around the water too. Always tell a property owner to keep out building sites to avoid the penalty for removal. Give the land to your kids in as good and hopefully better shape than you received. That's what it is all about Steven!

Watching from Northern Utah. Too expensive out here to buy a house. Average is about $650K for an average suburban home on a tiny lot surrounded by subdivisions as far as you can see. Traffic is insane. And drought out here means massive wildfires. Considering relocating. Just concerned we may be trading fire for flood if we move East.
