Log peeling gotta love it. I peeled logs for a Boy Scout jamboree for almost 2 weeks. Sticky dirty work but very satisfying.

One thing to think about is fire hardening your cabin. 1) Five feet no brush or trees near the cabin. Put down stone. Slate roof or metal roof with fire resistant insulation underneath . If you can, treat your outside logs with fire retardant. Also, insulated shutters for all doors and windows. In a major fire it could save your cabin, which btw, is beautiful. 😊

I get those loops when i take off my bike chain. The chain flops over. There are videos on KZbin to fix it. Takes 2 seconds. Check it out.

@DemasiLogCabin Supposedly the water is down in the roots , I'm cuban and I live on a farm before I came to this country 30 years ago , we follow the moon for a lots of things , animals , plants , I have a racing pigeons and I watch the moon for the races to , wen is full moon I expect a thought race .
