Yesterday was not fun. We had a tree come down in a wind storm and crash through the roof of our hardwood storage shed. My back went out when I put my boots on 1st thing in the morning. Then we heard the crash. Putting a tarp over the roof and lashing it down in the wind and rain was not fun. I am going to have to mover about 2000 feet of hardwood out of there soon as the winds will tear the tarp all up before to long. Alas if I only had a back lol. Have a great day my friend.

I have a woodmizer LT40 with a woodmizer upgrade 24hp onan motor. I'm still using it I'm looking to upgrade. I'd sell mine for $7,500.00 4096560809 Fred for more info

@@detailmasterconstruction5014 $7500 is giving it away! You should not have any problem selling it. I have thought about getting the new diesel super Hydraulic with the matrix set point carriage and debarker head but then I would have to run the mill a lot to pay for it. The one I have has been payed for for 25 years. The old mills may be a bit slower but they cut the same grade of lumber.

Steven Davis We are still looking. We have had some family illnesses so we have had to take care of that. The last month has been trying, but we will keep striving to find a suitable property.

So do they make those mills that cut both ways? Seems like a lot of wasted effort to bring the blade back for the cut. Wow I sure would really like to have a post-n-beam house made from wood like that...:)

Steven Davis I follow these folks as well. Along with several others. Days have been fairly bad of late. But am making it...LOL Here's to wishing you a blessed & wonderful day.

He needs a single roller on a stand to help with moving the boards.. saves a LOT of lifting and manipulating around stickers.

deernutOO Not a bad idea at all. We have built quite a few homes off this mill since 92. We have milled over 900,000 bft and sold 500,000 bft over the years. The mill runs like the day we bought it new. When two of us run the mill we put out 1500 bft in about 4 hours. That includes metal detection and prep. We usually pay nothing for the logs and get $550. To $800 per thousand bft. Dad still keeps his hand in it at 84 and I am retired but I still get dad the logs. We don't need the money these days so we're just having fun.

Hi Steven, I have really enjoyed your channel and I am a subscriber. Would you post what engine powers the Woodmizer with maybe some stats?

Suprised on how much saw dust a band saw generates. Good video.

Logjam5 Thanks, we use the sawdust for bedding for the animals. We also mix the sawdust in with the horse manure for the garden.
