What do you think? Would you use something like this for gear storage?
@tjcrawford79103 жыл бұрын
absolutely not! This is a gimmick for sure. Velcro probably not holding on the trails depending on the type of trails, but I'd say its a definite no for me. Great video tho!

Nope, seems like a dollarstore gadget. Only using once!

That just looks like a half baked, bad design., especially the upcoming camera mod... BTW Thanks for the actuator pin video- it was awesome and got me through without a hitch. I'm touchy about getting into the steering column assembly.

Not for me. I can see me dropping off a ledge in the winter and that RGB shattering doing a yard sale of all my recovery gear.

I just ordered mine on Amazon. It seems like the perfect solution for my off roading needs. Having my buddy stuck out in the desert as I rummage through all my stuff to find my recovery gear, shackles etc. as the sun is setting fast is no fun. Just having everything all in one secure place is priceless peace of mind. I'll post a full review once I receive it.

@@o3djeeps From my experience with itwere: 1) Surprised at how easy it attached. 2) How relatively dirt-free the gear was despite driving for miles off-road 3) How dry the gear was despite crossing streams & mud Honestly, it wasn't until we used it that we "got" it. Cheers, Joe

I bought mine from the pre-order launch and got it last week. I personally very much enjoy the product. I have already taken it off road and I think it’s convenient. I only have a 2 door and space is VERY LIMITED. I saw that someone said it looks cheap but for me I’m only putting in my most important gear that I have to get to the most often. One thing that o3d mentioned was that it had to be locked to stay closed. When I go on the trail I take the top of the top of the lock and use a cotter pin.

I wouldn't be surprised to see this on somebody's "top 5 worst mods" video, by this time next year.

I am not convinced by this system for the reasons already mentioned in other comments. Also .... what about the dust getting inside the box?

Good to see another review. It’s unique... but not for me.
@arturoortiz51373 жыл бұрын
The first one I bought broke because I tightened it too much, I was expecting a sturdier plastic. The second one I bought popped open on my way to Vegas and dropped everything that wasn’t velcroed down. I don’t think I’m going to be buying a 3rd one but probably wouldn’t have bought it to begin with if I knew that would happen.

This looks like a way to waste money for something you’ll use once and not want to deal with again. Quick access to my recovery gear is inside 4” PVC tubes, ring clamped to my rear roll cage, under the sides. Accessible from drivers seats and keeps them out of the weather and out of the way all while being organized for anytime you need them. Not for me. That’s for sure.

Welcome back. I watched the full video hoping to be sold but this just doesn't seem like a good product.

I thought the same thing too. Then I thought, if you had gotten a flat tire you would have to either unload everything and remove the tie downs or just Lou Ferrigno it off with everything inside it in order to remove the spare tire. I’m so not sold on mounting it there. Maybe if you ran a tire delete and fabricated some sort of bracket or a molle board for it to latch to, idk

Silly, & flimsy. Will not seal right, do to sun wear & tear. Limited in space, then its ok. Wouldnt pay over $60 for that

This product doesn't look good on Jeeps, just not a good look on the car. Jeeps have enough space in the back, this product just doesn't make any sense at all. Pointless.
@offroadinmind69152 жыл бұрын
Hi Noel! We feel that a two door Jeep does not have enough storage for everything we'd like to carry. There can be many instances in off roading where you may not always have access to the inside of your Jeep. Our product makes your gear more accessible from the outside which is necessary in those instances. Hope this clarifies!
