One of the guys in the 10th gen groups is building a coil over lift kit that removes the torsion bars that would be cool if you could get one of those kits once there out

This is the same truck I have but with the stepside, also mine is under a tarp because it has so many issues and money right now isn't the best but slowly but surely we'll get there

Make sure you get a set of 97 5.4 rails and a aeromotive regulator to get the fueling issue in line once you do it.

That's the plan, I have that exact setup on the Lightning. I plan on swapping that over, and going with a big boy system on the Lightning for the TVS

@@DebtLife_Projects Hell yeah man! I look forward to seeing this thing finished. I’ve got a couple short videos of my L swap on my 01 4x4 ext cab stepside. Lifted 4” on 35” tires. It does okay, I’m on a conservative tune on pump 93.

The 98 fuel rails are the same as the 97 ones, allowing an external FP regulator

@@thastinger345 I had a later 1998 model and it didn’t have the replaceable FP regulator. That’s why we usually say 97 because all of 97 was made like that to my understanding.

Idk whether you're going to swap rods and pistons into it or if you're going to run the regular stuff or not but I have a set of stock rods and pistons if you decide to go that way. Cool idea!

Everything bolts right up I spun a Rod in my 02 lightning I switch it out with a 03 expedition 2v 5.4 now I make way more power from my original lightning motor little higher compression
