I bought one of these from you guys a few years ago, completely decked out. hub generators in both front wheels, Lights, ergo mesh seat, 90 gear range, etc. Was like $8500. I LOVED it, especially the indirect steering! I sold it when I developed a knee injury and got bursitis in my left knee. Now that I'm healed up, I ABSOLUTELY regret selling my beautiful Enduro! :( :( :(
@AV8R_12 ай бұрын
@@SolarizeYourLife The bursitis took 5 years to heal. Anyway I got another one. ICE Adventure. Nowhere near as good though.

I finally stepped up to a $2000 mountain bike which was on sale a few years ago. The problem is, I have hardly ridden it. I have MS and my left ankle gets weak when I am exhausted. This looks to be a good option for me. I miss my pre-MS days when I used to climb the hills in my area.

Saving up money for one of these now. Question when you fold the bike up repeatedly does it hurt the chain? Just wondering how that affects the chain line
@TheAegisClaw4 жыл бұрын
I had one, it does ok off-road but runs out of ground clearance pretty quickly. Also climbing when it's muddy you can quickly lose traction. I'd also recommend e-assist, because three knobbly tyres mean a lot of drag, combined with a heavy trike it's hard work.
@herbklee14 жыл бұрын
perhaps 20” will provide more traction? but then you still have the clearance issues

Nice video. Now there is something like I'd want, what I'd call a semi-fat. What is the rider weight for it? I'd bet around 250 and I'm 320. Being an enduro you'd think it could handle more.

What is the elevation of the city where you guys are? I ask because of the awesome mountains in the background of the riding shots. What mountains are those? Great video.
@UtahTrikesOnline4 жыл бұрын
We're at 4,500 ft in Payson. The mountains you're seeing are part of the Wasatch range. The highest peak, Mt Nebo, is basically in our back yard. If you ever come to Payson, the Mt Nebo scenic loop is worth an hour and a half of your day.

Any experience with customers giving feedback about fitting folding trikes into municipal bike storage lockers like you find at transit centers? I'm guessing unfolded trikes may be too long to fit, and additionally, some design have a wedge shaped interior requiring you to put the skinny back end of a bike in first, and keep the wider handlebar end towards the door. kzbin.info/www/bejne/omrRg4aMgpuqirs Trikes won't fit on the front bike rack of a bus, but how about folding and carrying onto a train to place in the bike zone for daily commuting? I'm doing work advocating for action against Climate Crisis, and always looking for good solutions for folks to ditch their cars for their daily commute. Bike plus train is great, because you have access to your bike at both ends of the train ride. But trikes present more of a challenge. On the other hand, trikes could be a better solution for people with balance problems who have other disabilities.

If cost is NO I$$ue this is a great choice…$6-$9k is alot for me…
I say, if you are presenting the best and showing the riding experience, why not gear up with cycle ware? Those street civilian garbs takes away from the sport and detracts from the beauty of those trikes. Secondly, by not wearing helmets,. you are promoting wearing no helmet while biking.
@UtahTrikesOnline4 жыл бұрын
We like to think we're promoting freedom of choice, but if you wan to think we're anti-helmet, that's okay too.
@bobcatt22944 жыл бұрын
@@UtahTrikesOnline Your statement, unfortunately on "freedom of choice" when it comes to safety from a distributor which is to promote safety is flatly not responsible. You can not be on the fence on safety and keeping the public mindful of safety practices. I guess you speak for the culture of Utah Trikes.
