I totally agree 100% with pinder with the scheduling just look at the AHL it hurts attendance at games wrangers should be filling the lower bowl but that second game in almost every set the seats are empty everytime even with good teams

Bundling up the games would be fine. The nhl has many options. 3 points for regulation wins would be ideal. Right now, both teams are playing for a tie in the last 5 minutes

The necessity for baking into the schedule the idea of playing every team at least once, kind of assumes that every team in the league has a superstar that ALL hockey fans want to see. This just isn't the case; I bet basically every team in the east (including in Canada) doesn't give a shit about seeing a team like Calgary. Likewise, once Crosby and Ovi retire, the Penguins and Capitals are going to care less and less about playing each other -- and people out west aren't going to care if those teams ever make the trip out to Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, etc.
