In Can's case he would probably see it as being rude to reject a gift. In Nick's friend's case it is because all he wants is the watch. Yet even then, I would think it would be easier and cheaper to just buy an apple watch instead of date someone just to get an apple watch, considering having to pay for dates, etc. with someone he just plans on dumping after he gets the gift, I would think would cost more.

So here is what I don't understand: why should a woman worry about a man that they have not even been on a date with? As a man joining a dating app, my assumption is only women who also are on the app can see me and my photos. Maybe I don't want my colleagues or friends to know I am on dating app for any reason. Also, What could possibly go wrong by going on a coffee date in a public cafe that needs safety warning? Even if such pages need to exist, they should make rules like only post if someone has done something wrong and you have the proof. This is absurd.

Very good point about that 10% of guys are dated by majority of women or are wanted by them. It does kind of prove a point.
