The idea of needing to be within one or two years of the person you’re dating comes from dating as a minor, a teenager who goes to high school or college. That is a school age idea of dating. Thinking you need to be within a year or two of the person you’re dating is childish thinking. I am 38. I get allot of attraction from women between the ages of 21 - 27, it’s basically a predetermined age set that I naturally operate within by default. Easily outraged prone to very harsh punitive justice for even minor infractions. The only thing they achieve is an ever growing number of people out on parole for being drunk that one time and making a dumb joke. In some respects the US is even worse than Iran at this considering numerous cases of 14-16 year olds that got arrested for simply taking pics. Some of those got so shamed during interrogations they offed themselves. I used to believe the US system harsh as it is is still better than Iran. But now its only better in some respects.
