Sounds like a god awful experience and I'd never want to be in one of those situations, that being said they should have paid him. He did a service (although a bad one, perhaps endangering their lives, and who knows if Joe's just exaggerating for story sake or maybe he really did feel like his life was in danger and interperated the situation as a much worse one) and so for said service payment should be provided. Again right after just write a review, perhaps contact the authorities and management if you have all his information and go from there. So it's perfectly understandable as to why the driver wasn't leaving when you guys asked to get on a new cab. In that moment you (David, joe, and Hannah) stole from the cab driver based on basic principles. So I get the drivers argument as I'm sure he felt he was being stolen from.

When Johnny Chang came on, after Joe bragging all these years about him being part of that “gangster life.” Says the guy with no conviction. West side stories is what he said. Now he told Hanna that said that he’s proud of himself because if he was 17 he would be wailing on the driver. Joe is 40 years old. Why would he be comparing himself to his 17 year old self. Everyone is wild when they’re 17. He must really believe at one point of his life he was a gangster. But when a true gangster comes in… just watched the Johnny Chang episode.

So, you enter the wrong cab, belittle the driver for not understanding your address, enter the wrong address in the gps, REFUSE TO PAY, and then you have the gall to act like the driver's in the wrong. Makes sense.

Probably new taxi driver. The driver went and talked with the security and got the ok. He probably didn't clear out his previous routes on his phone before he handed it to them.

The cab driver put their luggage in his car trunk before they had a chance to get into the correct cab. They gave him the correct address more than once, then David inputted the correct address into the GPS, yet unbeknownst to them they didn't realize the cab driver had 2 other addresses already programed into his device, probably from prior fares he had, had in his cab. He was driving erratically, swearing and yelling at them, and road raging towards other drivers on the road. Then he took them to the wrong address. He refused to open the trunk to give them their luggage back, and threatened them with violence when they wanted their luggage back. So you are damn right they refused to pay because the driver was in the wrong. 🤨

He very rudely asked them the address and isnt it the taxi drivers responsibility to at least know where the area is? Tim lives 19mins from the airport, its not that far. He dropped them off 3 mins from the airport why should they pay? Had he been reasonable with his approach of not knowing where their destination things wouldnt have escalated that bad
