Pizza hut in our area has not been good for awhile now. The last 2 times we tried ordering from there, our order was an hour late, despite them trying to claim it would "just be another 10 minutes", and that was after we had waited the allotted time after ordering before going to pick it up . So we stopped going there.

Also, that's not how fat acceptance works, although a lot think it is lol. It just means to treat yourself or other fat people with respect rather than gross monsters because shame usually doesn't help the lose weight. It's an anti-discriminatory act against fat people and for fat people to be more realistic with themselves. It's the middle line between not hating yourself completely and not deluding yourself into thinking you're fine because either ends result in little to no progress. It's like an addict who has to be honest with themselves in order to get help. They're accepting they're an addict, they're not embracing it as who they want to be or as a badge of honor. People who are clearly unhealthy from their weight and say they don't need to lose any because they love themselves are not doing fat acceptance, although they think they are- that's just enabling unhealthiness and deluding themselves. The acceptance is looking at yourself objectively, not lying to yourself, and seeing what you can do from there to make changes. Self hatred and fat shaming from others usually discourages them, this helps them look at themselves in a more objective and neutral way without emotional attachments. On the other side, it knocks some reality into them. Additionally, psychologically, most people who hate themselves can't just jump to straight to self love or body positivity (a totally different concept from fat acceptance, common misconception), so they need to baby step their brain with more neutral statements.

The fat acceptance movement is probably one of the most misunderstood things. It just means accepting what you look like without hating yourself and to not be a jerk to fat people lol. People somehow think it means thinking it's OK and totally healthy to be way overweight. Body acceptance is all about being realistic with where you are and having a more neutral mindset about your body. Contrary to some people's beliefs, fat shaming doesn't often work and can have the opposite effect of losing weight. There can be a lot of psychological or medical complications that can't be fixed with just saying "just eat less and move 5head." Moving their minds to a more neutral space about their body, instead of being judgmental can push them out of the crippling self hate or depression. On the other side, it's also saying you can still love yourself without wanting to be fat anymore. People see being obese as a moral failure rather than a legitimate disease that can cause complications that many people struggle with. People who delude themselves don't see it as anything wrong at all. Replace obesity with any other disease. You can have cancer and still love yourself, it doesn't mean you want to keep the cancer and you understand the cancer isn't what defines you And to be real, fat shamers don't actually care about these people's health. A lot of them actually feel superior to the people they shame and will also shame them for "cheating" the weight loss by not doing it via traditional exercise and diet- it's like do you want them to lose the weight or not....? You'd rather have them struggle for years losing weight instead of making it easier so they don't have a heart disease in their 30s?

Fat acceptance specifically is more so about the treatment and discrimination, body acceptance is also about the neutral mindset and acceptance of your situation. Body positivity is celebrating or embracing your body despite perceived physical flaws like acne, stretch marks, cellulite, not having a six pack, etc. Body positivity is more about embracing imperfections.
