During my whole childhood, my dad has always been lecturing me about going to college, getting a degree and a good job, having great credit, buying a house, and starting a family. I'm in my 30s now and have accomplished all that but when we talk, its like he forgets and still gives me the same lecture/advice. I have to remind him that I've already accomplished all that and more. I know his intentions are well and its probably due to generational trauma or his upbringing but I've learned to recognize its his way of trying to connect with me. I dont think he knows how to talk about anything else. Asian parenting and love language at its finest 😅

Mine was my very Roman Catholic family telling me( this gets dark but it'll be okay lol) to marry the guy I had a child with. I did and I had another child and nearly lost my life by his hands. Very blessed to have my two children and now grandchildren but so happy I got out before it was too late. This video was the best! worst advice? unsolicited advice! anyway, try cracking eggs on a flat surface, not on the edge of something, because that pushes the broken eggshells into the egg white and you end up having shells in your whites. there's a lower chance of that happening when you crack eggs on a flat surface, because the membrane on the inside of the shell sticks to the broken shell bits and prevents it from getting to the whites

Never do business with family and friends maybe because humans will use that advantage of oh i know you we're family and friends we're close so its ok.
