The point they made about Asians working hella well together vs black dancers being better off individually and not working as well kinda makes sense if you remember that, by the final weeks of ABDC s1, Status Quo were at each others throats trying to come up with choreo. Like, it was bad how much they weren't in sync, versus crews like Jabba and Kabba who were coming up with masterpiece choreos without falter.

Kaba Modern started in the college scene. The original name is kababayan modern. Filipino for the modern people. I remember when most of the Asian dancers in SoCal and NorCal were Filipinos. I’m happy that it has expanded to all the other Asian Americans. Filipinos also promoted parties from San Fernando Valley to Diamond Bar. Filipinos never get talked about.

Just have to point out that fact that they had Kaba Modern and Jabbawockeez in the bottom 2 out of the final 3 shows that America is not based on a merit system and one of race politics instead especially in the entertainment industry. Asian Americans are well aware of the uphill battle we deal with everyday in our lives.
