The history of this film is crazy. I enjoyed this so much as a kiddo. It's only become more enjoyable as time goes on for me. There were some cut songs in the credits. Eartha Kitt's "Snuff out the Night" was her cut villain song. The amount of times my family quoted this through the years, uncountable.

Oh man - whoever decided to cut Eartha Kitt's song should be fired.

@TwoFreckledFriends I agree. Her song was from when the movie was a bit more serious, though. And you can still hear it on the soundtrack. It's just unfortunately not in the film.

Great video, ladies! I really enjoy your reactions! I hope you eventually get to some more 90s-00s classics like Major Payne, Cheaper by the Dozen, Lion King 1/2 & Daddy Daycare.

We'll add those to the list of suggestions. Thanks for checking out the episode.

Before this movie was approved, there was another film in consideration set in Incan times, but it was eventually dropped to work on this. It was supposed to have an Incan setting for an adaptation of The Prince And The Pauper with David Spade as the prince and Owen Wilson as the pauper. It was supposedly called Empire Of The Sun. I thought that idea was interesting. What do y'all think?

There is an unofficial documentary called "The Sweatbox" floating around the Internet that closely documents the making of this film; it is INFAMOUS among Disney animation circles for its troubled production.

We love it when folks spill the tea in the comments. Definitely will be digging the internet to find that documentary.
