And when that happens it breaks.gim just that little bit more, you'd assume, but he doesn't react or anything, and actually you start to believe that he can't feel or anything anymore and it kind of scares you but mostly bums you out. You don't keep in touch with anyone else who knows him really, so you just sort of do nothing. But one time you walk in to say hi and he's not there, and that's somehow more awkward, and then you accidentally call him one day by mistake because you were trying to pity him and text him something or whatever. And he answers immediately which is super weird because like what the fuck was he waiting. Then he just breathes a lot and hangs up, and then one day you find out he didn't even work there.
