M mpb they’re raising ticket prices to about 75bucks after the new beauty and the beast area opens. Don’t really think any of the Disney theme parks are overpriced though. WDW has a reason to be more expensive than Tokyo Disney Resort cuz it’s like 5 times bigger.

I have been to both of the Disney Parks in Japan and I can say they are absolutely amazing and in many ways better than the US parks. Tokyo Disneyland feels way more spacious, the food is really good and super cute, and don't even get me started with their souvenir game. The parks are also super clean and everyone working there feels like they are happy to be there. I love the choices and variety of Disney World and the old school feel of Disneyland, but there is a lot to love about Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea. If I had one complaint its that the Japan's parks pin game is lacking and trading is non-existent.

I just got back from a trip to Japan recently, and I got to spend a whole day in Disney Sea. Without a doubt, its the most magical experience ever. I ate every flavor of popcorn except the Chinese Spice (the line was halfway around the lagoon), including the shrimp one! The buckets are absolutely worth it, and most carts have a unique one, and they're normally listed on the map. The cast are super friendly, even if the language is a barrier sometimes. A little bit of smiling and some hand gestures go a long way. Every ride and attraction was magnificent, the theming unmatched, the non-popcorn food delicious (and reasonably priced for a Disney Park in Tokyo) and the experience unforgettable! Also, didn't know you were in Springs. I'm from the Denver area, so that was a pleasant surprise.

BTW, there's a neat effect most people miss but I show to people who wouldn't catch it otherwise... you know how it's really close to water? If you are near where Stormrider was (now that Finding Nemo attraction), there's a wall with water coming through part of it & with the "skyline" tricks they do it looks like the wall is up against the sea/seawater is pouring in through a specific set of doors in the wall. When a monorail goes by it ruins the effect but otherwise the effect works amazingly well.

Just had a flashback to my last trip to DisneySea. Do you know what Invisalign is? I took out my set/put them in a napkin and ate at the Italian restaurant (ministrone soup and a personal pizza). When I was getting ready to leave I saw Hercules & his assistant walking out a staff door to come out and meet people/take pictures & they were joking around in English. So I figured I'd get a picture I dumped my tray in the garbage and put down the tray to realize I JUST THREW AWAY MY ALIGNERS. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU........ Staff member wiping off trays sees me panicking and asks what is wrong. I try to tell her but her English isn't enough to understand me so she asks me to write it down. I did, she read it with a surprised look on her face, closed the flap so no one else could dump anything further down there and she quickly went off with the garbage can. Came back about 10 minutes later saying they found them and cleaned them for me. I was so relieved... but you can imagine how my heart sunk and I was so freaked out. Left there, washed them again myself and still caught Hercules just after that and got a picture with him. ^_^

I spent my seventeenth birthday in Tokyo Disneyland, and it is far and away the best experience I've ever had, when you have the birthday medal every single staff member, from costume characters to the ride operators and cleaners will stop and wish you a happy birthday in the most over the top way possible, no fewer than 100 people shouted "it's your birthday! Happiest birthday!" And the trombonist for the marching band(THE Disneyland marching band) played happy birthday to me when they were warming up just off main Street Watching this video makes me feel so warm and fluffy and I miss it so much, everything is so polished and wonderful, and it's all kept so meticulously clean you could eat off the footpath I can 100000% recommend it to anyone who ever gets a chance

I agree that foods and shows are some of the things that make it the best park in the world...although for me personally, what you said about the backstory behind the attractions is always the most outstanding element of this park. I’m also obsessed with the wholesome S.E.A. storyline (this is absolutely theme park done right). I went to Tokyo Disney exactly 10 years and 3 days ago. Now I know I'm a little biased because I love Victorian Science Fiction and Jules Verne is my favourite author, but OMG, I loved DisneySea! 20,000 Leagues and Journey to the Center of the Earth are tied for my favourite Disney attractions anywhere in the world, even supplanting the Haunted Mansion. Beyond that though, and the obvious quality of the park, I love the overarching theme of the adventure of discovery and exploration that permeates the entire park. The S.E.A., Captain Nemo, Sindbad, Indiana Jones... it all exemplifies that theme (even if Imagineering is now trying to shoehorn the S.E.A. into everything, thus missing the point). Tokyo Disneyland is pretty good, though after Disneyland USA, Disneyland Paris, and Magic Kingdom, it's like, yep, another Disneyland. However, the fact that the Winnie the Pooh ride is the best ride there is pretty amazing.

I walked onto Star Tours, but you look right across the way and the Stitch ride is packed! Same with Pirates of the Caribbean. I rode it 2 or 3 times due to no lines! The popcorn is super good, the teriyaki drumstick was underwhelming, the tipo tort was good. The curry bear the critter country was awesome! You're not kidding about the popcorn. There was once a salt and pepper popcorn that was delicious but unfortunately they got rid of it. The garlic shrimp was a little overwhelming but all the others were great. Our favorite was the Chinese spice and milk chocolate. The restaurants are amazing (if anyone here is going, check out the Teddy Roosevelt restaurant if you like getting your drink on) speaking of drinks, there's this great hot peach drink with I think whiskey in it sold not far from the gondolas in the winter that we couldn't stop drinking. It's definitely worth the trip if you can make it. I'd love to go again someday. Edit: Forgot to mention Duffy!

Coming from the uk I paid no more to travel and staying in Tokyo than I would on a disneyworld vacation. The biggest difference was only spent three days at the parks and the rest experiencing Japan. I have travelled a lot and Japan and Tokyo Disney was the best. The people and experience was magical, go during the Sakura season you won’t regret it. We will be returning again

Went to Tokyo Disneyland back in February, it was the first time I went to a theme park in almost 10 years. It was so fun. Going back to Japan for 3 months next year. I'm going to probably go a few times when I'm there.

My favorite thing about disneysea is the view at nighttime. I’ve been to Disneyland before as well, but the view over the sea(?) in the central part of the park is amazing, and it’s always nice for that to be the last thing you see after a long exciting day of walking around. I’m the kind of person that’s on the move from start to finish, but on multiple occasions, when I’ve gone to disneysea, I’ve spent the last half hour to an hour or so just walking around the sea or just sitting down and looking over the sea. Oh! And one thing, I highly recommend the steamboat and gondola during nighttime, especially the steamboat, because it takes you to the middle of the sea and you can have a view that not a lot of people have, of the most beautiful part of the park just all around you. I did that last time after years of thinking that the boat rides were lame and a waste of time and I could not have been more wrong. It was wonderful and I recommend it to anyone who visits

We visited Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disney Sea in 2017, and yes, they are the most amazing Disney parks I have been too. Disney Sea is a truly immersive experience and Journey to the Center of the Earth is one of my top favorite rides. BUT Disneyland in California is my childhood park that has the best memories for me, so it’s still my favorite. I wish California Disneyland had Tokyo’s version of Winnie the Pooh though.

I’m from japan and live close enough to Disney that I can take a day drop there, and because disneysea is so popular, I’ve been there several times, including a few times on school trips(its always sea and not land) and although it’s fantastic, it’s nice to actually go to Disneyland once in a while because it feels more like DISNEY, you know? Disneysea, in a way, mainly just feels like an adventure land with some Disney themed attractions. The one thing I think it’s lacking though, is the level of intensity on thrill based rides. I’m someone who loves a good thrill ride, so although I love the park, I always find myself being a bit underwhelmed by the thrill factor of most of the “thrill” type rides there. But it makes sense because I think that overall, Japanese people are more into the merchandise and theming, and not so much focused on the thrill, which is why they don’t have that many thrilling rides.

The Tokyo parks are great but a few things to keep in mind: 1. They get really crowded, especially on weekends and holidays. It's best to visit during the week. when kids are in school and other people are at work. 2. Be there with your ticket before the park opens. Then, get your fast passes ASAP when you enter. The run out quickly. And have you first few minutes well planned to get at least one ride in quickly after getting all of the passes. 3. They have a Blue Bayou restaurant in New Orleans, but the menu is different than the US and you can't get a Monte Chrsto there. 4. If you get a fancy popcorn bucket (about $20), you can refill it cheaply--even at subsequent park visits. Each cart sells a different bucket, so check what they have before you decide. 5. There are merch shops outside the park exits that sell almost everything, so don't waste a lot of time inside the park shopping. 6. Some rides and shows are pretty easy to get into, but popular rides may have an hour-long line. 7. Most shows have an English narration that you can hear on headsets. You need to ask for them, and you may need to sit in the back part of the theater for them to work. Rides like Jungle Cruise, though, are Japanese-only. 8. Almost everything is labeled in English, (including menus) so it's pretty easy for foreigners to get around. 9. Be careful of the weather. It's unbelievably hot in the Summer, and there is quite a bit of rain in the spring (especially June). Winters are cold but not unbearably so. 10. The park is super clean, and the staff (and guess) are very polite. It's Japan.

I've been to Tokyo Disney and Disney Sea twice and I can say for sure it's the best Disney in the whole world. The theming is great, the food is amazing (the hot chocolate popcorn is incredible) and they have Stitch everywhere and so much more Donald Duck than I've seen at any other park (he's my favorite). The only downside is the wait time for the Winnie the Pooh ride which was 2 hours last time I went. I really hope you can go someday, every Disney fan should get the chance to see it in person.

If shows and parades are your thing, TDR can't be beat. Depending on the season at TDL, you can watch a Halloween (or Easter/Christmas) parade, Dreaming Up daytime parade, and Electrical Parade Dreamlights in ONE DAY! In TDS, you can watch a daytime pageant on the water, three different shows in their respective theaters and Fantasmic! (soon to be swapped with another new nighttime spectacle.) I love Anaheim's original park in terms of nostalgia, but Tokyo Disney Resort is superb; and the exceptional cast members, cleanliness of the parks, and respectful locals make it an unparalleled experience. Walt would be pleased. Now get thee to Tokyo!

Just a friendly tip because I know you were recently engaged. Congratulations❤️Me and my husband had our honeymoon at Disneyland. We stayed at the Hilton Anaheim. If you let the front desk know you are staying there for your honeymoon buy the newlyweds basket it's very beautiful and they will send it with additional treats. We bought the basket and they sent it to our room with chocolate strawberries, champagne, cake, a Disney gift, and a special note card. The basket comes with a bride and groom Mickey and Minnie, Mr. & Mrs. cups, a mini box of chocolates, and a newlywed card. We were very surprised and thankful for the gift. When you go to Disneyland stop by the city hall to pick up your newlyweds buttons too.

I’m planning on doing the eikaiwa thing after I finish my degree. I figured I’d probably end up at Tokyo Disney at some point, but now I HAVE to go. I just wish they had a Herbie or “Kingdom Hearts” popcorn bucket. The Herbie could simply be Herbie himself with the hinge just below the windowline. I don’t know about KH... maybe a Red Nocturne? It’s already kind of shaped like a jar or bucket, and they’d only have to change the color of the body to make the other members of its family. The fans would want to collect all four.

I loved my visits to both Tokyo Disneyland and Disney sea. They are the best park experiences I've had. The popcorn is delicious. I loved the curry flavor. The theming is amazing lots of good details. Things like soap dispensers making a foam Mickey on your hand. I think one of the biggest reasons I loved my park experience is the people. Japanese people visiting the park tend to all wear a group outfit all Disney themed. It really helps add to the atmosphere. Also Japanese people tend to be better at queuing and less likely to get angry.

Went to Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea a couple days ago! It truly was an amazing experience. As mentioned in the video, the theming of the food and attractions was executed so well! Their shows and parades were magical as well. Not gonna lie, my eyes glistened as I saw Fantasia Mickey doing his thing, surrounded by fireworks haha. The popcorn buckets were great too! I felt like a kid again as I walked around the park wearing my Mickey ears and eating popcorn from my Steamboat Mickey popcorn bucket! Every Disney fan should try and experience those parks!
