Offhand Disney Ha! I remember once me and my family were at a Disney trip and right as we got into a hotel room my dad’s turned on the TV and then they said they were almost doubling The price of an annual pass THE DAY we were going to buy an annual pass for my whole family OF SIX!!
@gallendugall89134 жыл бұрын
When I went, back in the '80s, my parents got discounted Disney World tickets for the off season which were about twice the price of a theater ticket so it wasn't bad at all... although they complained about those concession prices... anyway. I think at some point int he '90s Disney stopped having off seasons so those discounts went away, but by then I'd enlisted and went to boot camp... in Orlando, which allowed me to visit Disney World one last time and sample all the other new theme parks with a nice active service discount. Navy's Orlando boot camp is best boot camp.

I went to Disney World once when I was 13, went on the tower of terror, and when I got off, I was doing some window shopping when my nose started bleeding profusely. It was the first time this had ever happened, and I had consistent nose bleeds after that for two years before we discovered my wisdom teeth were growing into my nasal cavity and causing the bleeds. But like. spoopy that it started as soon as I got off the tower of terror. I thought I was cursed, my sister kept trying to touch my face and squirming, my mom started crying because she thought I was gonna die. Good times. I went on the tower of terror three more times the next day.

Not scary, but really stupid from a design standpoint. Having the faces be projections causes more problems than a built-in face. Sometimes the screens don't work, and those on the ride are left with Slenderman versions of Elsa and Anna. I'll never understand why they thought it was a good idea.

@@trevorpacelli8056 Make no mistake, people saw it in 1959, but it wasn't complete full houses for months on end. The movie cost a fortune to make from the technical aspects of the picture themselves including the cameras used to shoot it. This isn't even counting the tremendous costs of heavy commercials and merchandise that would make the last two fairy tale films Cinderella and Snow White look quaint. Big production and commercials can pay off, but they are a big risk, especially in the movie making business. Fortunately Disneyland became a success a couple of years beforehand. I think the entire concept and theming of the Disneyland Jungle Cruise is very scary and morbid. Even in the radio broadcast, it says that when it comes to sleeping sickness, prevention is the only cure. There's so much death in that ride. That must be the reason why the Skippers have to tell jokes, because if you thought twice about what was actually happening in those scenes, it would not be a fun ride at all.

Straight up--for years going on the old "America Sings" attraction (built into the original "Carousel Of Progress" ) at Disneyland really creeped me out given that just weeks after "America's" opening a ride hostess was actually crushed to death when the "rotating" auditorium shifted into the next section and she got caught between the walls. In light of such happy thoughts I was glad when "Innoventions" moved into the space eliminating the entire (outdated) rotating theater concept once and for all!

@@ice-choco-Icecream but how did you see them if you weren't looking for them? Like I learned about them from either this channel or another disney chanel, so when I went back to Disneyland, I looked for them 2x before we saw them . But you literally have to turn around and look completely behind you , when you get to that part of the ride. I had been on that ride many times before and never saw them.

juanitau2012 It’s actually funny, I did heard of them, but i though they were before the dream sequence, so after that I thought they were removed or something just to notice they weren’t, plus I thought they were smaller lol

The scariest thing was the time we were caught on a huge storm. We were running through the rain to our hotel when we got there, there was a bag to keep the tall water out. This was in 2017 in DisneyWorld. Pretty scary to hear loud thunder and wind but it was good in the morning

Another good video! I think the Carnotaurus charging the time rover is still a pretty scary thing. Also, the old evil queen/hag in Snow White's Scary Adventures. However, I wonder if they will make that ride even more tame after the more recent refurb. The original incarnation might just be the scariest thing Disney has ever built!

For me as a kid growing up in the late 70's to early 80's, the original attic scene in the Haunted Mansion with the old pop up ghost heads scared the living crap out of me. It scared me so much that a few times, my parents would have me wait outside while they went on the ride. Now, the Haunted Mansion is my favorite ride, and I really miss those pop up ghosts.

Hong Kong actually changed out the Nightmare Experiment for a Nightmare before Christmas themed walkthrough, and has been running for 2 years in a row now.

Speaking as a socal native, growing up I was scared of the snake and the blow dart hallway in Indy, terrified when my seat would poke me in It's Tough To Be A Bug and of course frightened by the forest in Snow White like you mentioned. Those are legit all I can think of. EDIT: oh and the jaguar in Tarzan's treehouse that roars WAY too loud, definitely got me to jump every time growing up

The things I was scared of was either taken down (like It's tough to be a bug and tower of terror) or don't scare me anymore (like the haunted Mansion or Indiana Jones ride) but the angler fish from the finding Nemo ride still creeps me out.

The room at 4:51 reminds me of a scene from Bioshock Infinite. That room looks a lot like the rooms where you find Elizabeth living her life. Kinda creepy, actually. The doll at 5:20 reminds me of the characters in Among the Sleep. This is a game where you play a 3 year child and explore his imagination as he tries to find his mother. Many of the things he sees look like that doll.

I did the Hong Kong Disneyland Haunted house and it was amazing! Seeing pinocchio chained to a wall while creepy music played and a clown forced him to dance was so cool! Darker then anything disney would do in the US. Also the Monsters ink door room was cool since things were hiding behind random doors and you had to find your way out.
