Officer Buys Formula for New Mom of 1-Week Old Baby

A police officer is called upon to help a new mom buy food for her 1-week-old baby. Police in Miami, Ohio, say they got a frantic phone call in the middle of the night from a mom in need of formula since her breast milk ran out. That's when an officer on duty went in search of formula at the grocery store. He paid for the formula and a bottle from his own wallet and brought it back to the mom. I think this might have been a young mother, but you're right, the hospital should inform mothers to have a backup plan in case breastfeeding doesn't work out! I'm so grateful that was able to breastfeed my three babies without issues, I always had formula at home just in case! 💐

One night leaving the NCO club, drunker than Cooter Brown, one of the base SPs found me dancing and singing in the parking lot at 0200 hrs. He knew which barrack I stayed in and figured out which room. Ski, that's what I called him, was salt of the Earth (and probably still is). BTW Brother, thank you for your service.😎

From my personal experience with 911 operator they can be harsh or rude , I only had two negative experiences I felt I had no choice but to hang up. And deal with my emergency on my own. So I'm very shocked that 911 operator help this young lady and her precious baby . I have seen many police officers do very kind things in many different communities . And I'm very impressed with the employees at the store for helping the officer . They're awesome 🥇 Everybody was so kind , great job God bless everyone . 💙🙏

Thank you for your hard work! Being a police officer doesn’t only mean catching bad guys. A lot of police work is just helping out the community in tough/stressful situations. For example, I’ve seen way too many videos of bad/corrupt cops so I’m generally cautious when I meet an officer, but a few years ago my retired father’s car broke down on the side of the road in intense summer heat, and fortunately a good police officer was driving by and helped jump start my dad’s car so he could get home. I’m very thankful for his quick actions and kindness that saved my dad from waiting for help in 100 degree heat.
