Or.. pretty young women get treated differently in life, even by cops. One of the cops in the beginning uttered the words "poor girl", just in case you missed it. Just after he said she was swerving all over the place. So he suspected she was drunk, but said "poor girl" anyway while putting on his jacket. That doesn't happen with ugly women or men during DUI investigations. These cops were gitty with laughter too. They were smitten. Happens to the best of us - that's how life generally works most of the time.

I have seen this in a couple of police cams. It’s crazy to me how many people don’t fasten those down. One mother on Columbus’ channel genuinely had no idea and couldn’t figure it out when given the chance…the officer showed her and sent her on her way without a warning. It was beyond heartwarming.

The only thing I will say in defense of the car seat is that it is possible they have 2 vehicles ( her and the child’s father ) … I have had plenty of times where I will throw the car seat in my vehicle knowing eventually my kiddo will be in it but I don’t hook it up until the actual situation happens…just saying . That doesn’t mean she puts her kid in unsafe situations 24/7 . It could have been that kiddo got dropped off for the weekend , and she took the car seat back but didn’t hook it up properly yet. That’s way to much to judge on someone over a car seat without knowing the situation

Agree both cops were great, and tightening the car seat was going the extra mile. I don't want to diminish that, but I wonder if their behavior is better because they know the body cams are recording? For example, the fact that he stopped her from laughing was very professional. Get's her life back? lol. This wasn't like she was some methhead. High ranking people in society get arrested all the time for DUI, and they have no problem picking back up. The only difference between her and the other people who drink who never had a DUI is that the other people didn't get caught. We all have had more than we should have at some point. And considering the results of her test which I saw with my own two eyes, she wasn't lit. She wasn't stumbling all around. Confused by the puke because if she drank so much to puke in the car, then she appeared totally different. She didn't come off as way intoxicated either. She just may very well get out of this if she contests it. If she didn't blow, she has a strong case. Her eyes were fine. They test for horizontal jerk nystagmus which I didn't see at all. And the fact that it was so cold, that could easily be argued to affect her performance.

For all those criticizing her: she's had a pretty rough life. In fact, her roommate beat her with a pipe, smashed her head on the floor and killed her puppy by beating it to death with the same metal pipe. Just gonna throw it out there for those so quick to judge. Her roommate got 25 years in prison which tells ya that she didn't just get a few "love" taps. The dead puppy likely also explains why when she saw the K9's at the jail, she lit up and wanted to kiss them. The fact that she went through that and was still very nice after getting busted deserves some credit regardless. The poor girl is probably still dealing with the trauma. Don't believe me? I love that the officer is so kind to her and makes the experience less miserable than it has to be. With the exaggerated emotions that come with weed and alcohol use, I’d imagine being arrested would be so scary. You can tell everyone involved are good people. It's true. When I got my DUI a long time ago, I treated the officers with respect, and they did the same for me. It makes the experience much easier. After my DUI, I realized how much danger I was putting other people and myself in. I learned my lesson, and I never drove drunk again. It was definitely an eye-opening experience.

I kinda wish I saw video of myself when it happened to me. I was young and a total idiot. But I was a very nice cute wasted young lady. All I know is first time I hit 7 parked cars yep. I remember going inside to change clothes quickly. It was behind my house where everyone had a spot. Now I had 6 hours all you and 20 friends could drink. It was really only 2 hours but because we were nice and tipped great and dj had a crush we got 3 back to back parties. This was in the 90s. They don't do things like that anymore. I remember telling them I hadn't eaten and had a few beers laid down and then had to move my car. I was on private property and they never saw me drive. When I blew the cop said I should be dead. They did it 4 times. Another cop that wasn't involved said to take me for blood. But my cops didn't. I was never put in a cell. We talked until my parents came. I asked police to please keep me lol. Because it was private property I got reckless driving. A few years later I didn't drive to party I knew better. But my drunk self decided to go to taco bell . I got pulled over in drive through. I was an account executive so a dui would have ruined my job. What an idiot. I don't know what happened but the police let me call my husband. They didn't tow me. The cop said infront of station stay out here because up smell like a brewery. I have no idea why he just let me go. Then 10 yrs later I got pulled over. I had gone to the er for hurting my ankle. But I'd been drinking earlier. Here I blew just over legal limit by a point so legally dui. But he parked my car and told me to stay in a hotel overnight. I couldn't believe it. Then another 5 yrs later my husband got in trouble. I was in bed and on pain meds from surgery. I was right by station. It was dead no people around for a block until I hit station. I was so pissed I stupidly just decided to go through the red light. I got pulled over. Explained and he let me go. Now I am a very very nice person but this was so long ago people were nice so it wasn't a big deal like now. Now I get discounts and free stuff everywhere I go which I find sad. I'm not doing anything special. I'm just treating people like they should be. Now people everywhere are so sad. If I see that I start a conversation and make them laugh. I then say don't let negative people get to you. When it happens you just keep smiling. And as they get nastier you make that smile bigger. Either they¹ will become happy too. Or you'll make them madder. Those people are evil and all they want to do is make everyone upset. Pray for them but don't let them take your light. I don't know if I kept getting brakes because of my attitude but I do know Jesus was in charge. God bless you and us all.

Sometimes they are kinda cute and thirsty people even watch a shorty get pulled over drunk to the state of throwing up in teh vehical with other drug paraphenlia and an improperly secured child seat. If it had been a man of the same age caught like this and behaving in a giggly and happy attitude it would not go this way and ther wouldn't be so many well wishers desperate to imagine a scenerio where they could be the man to change her life and take care of some otehr guys baby while she's out clubbing.

Yes all fun in games, My son was hit by a women drunk driver. His friend ended up getting the jaws of life to get out of the car and two broken legs..but she was nice

The “she’s such a sweetheart” and “this is so entertaining” comments are insane! She got behind the wheel severely impaired and with no contacts/glasses while saying she’s “blind.” She put innocent lives and her own at risk. But cheers to her because she’s cute and entertaining!
