Id love to see you take my weapon out of my holster, you couldnt. and while i hate kkkops i did buy one of thier holsters. the shit aint coming out unless i want it to. @@nonconformist9930 ok jackass I know your some kind of high level wanna be special forces but I’m just saying. Even with all the security measures preventing someone from taking your gun. I would think it’s better to be in a position where it’s somewhat more difficult for them to grasp your gun to begin with. From what I’ve heard a good amount of focus is placed on weapon retention and rightfully so as every time you go somewhere either as a police officer or armed citizen there is always going to be a gun there.

Yes you should. Always redirect your attacker awake from your weapon. This technique assumes you see the attack coming and are faster in your reaction. (News flash, few people are that fast and prepared.) You are better off going Into default high cover if you don't get knocked out by the initial suckered punch.

There's some additional techniques to punch defense you may find handy: for a barrage of punches, you can close the distance with your arms covering your face, and from there you can flip your opponent and as for a round punch; there's this MCMAP round punch defense that's real good you should check it out when you have a moment to

You don't need Ninja like reflexes to get to the outside of a punch. Either you got it or you don't. Fact is most officers don't train once they leave the academy. That's on the officers, even if you offered pay increases for training. Many won't care to do it.

Learn boxing, kick boxing, or Muay Thai. This is all blah, blah. If you don't practice how to slip punches in real time, it isn't going to work in the real world.

And now for real world…. Unless you are a trained fighter who trains frequently, when that abnormal event of a bad guy actually trying to physically attack you happens, you’ll shit your pants and try to tackle him hoping back up arrives soon. Not saying this isn’t good advise or training but let’s be honest.
