Official Alpha Broodmother Boss Fight Using 5 Megatherium And A Yutyrannus! Ark Survival Ascended

I paired up with my allied tribe Onlytribescom, to take on the Alpha Broodmother on Official PvE in today's video, where we enter the fight with only 5 Megatherium and a single Yutyrannus! We used a strategy that allowed us to lock the Broodmother in place and get the easy kill!

If u ride ur own imprinted dino u get resist and samage buff , you could save alot of time with that , good job

Yes this is very true, I just did not have any megatherium up to snuff at the time so borrowed one from my allies. We have run this fight a couple times since and I had my own for those ones and def faired better. Thanks for watching!

For the people trying to solo, you basically just need like way more megs and ride the yuty and just roar its not hard just let your megs tank if you want to be very very safe then just get like 16 megs to fit inside usually 16 is enough for alpha if your solo but with tribemates it becomes way easier even just having duo you can beat all the bosses solo just requires more dinos

What would you modify for single player?

If doing this solo on single player I would def add a few more megatherium, whistle all of em to attack the broodmother while you boost em with the yuty… reason I would add more megatherium is just because by whistling them you can’t guarantee to get them in the right position to lock her in place, so you may need a few more to make sure to have her covered and get her down quick. I am alone playing on official pve, do you think rex with 944up to 1,6k dmg and health is 35k up to 85k can kill broodmother? I havent kill any boss yet.

Oh wow those are some pretty crazy rexes for official, you SHOULD be good as long as you have good saddles and a full roster, just beware of the acid spit… using the megatherium seems to lock her in place and she doesn’t really seem to use the acid when that happens… hope this helps, thanks for watching!

Preimprint they were about 6k health 400 melee, but after imprint and some leveling they were at about 20k health and 650ish melee going in to the fight. Thanks for watching!

this batch was 6.3khp 408m base, leveled to 20khp 650-750 melee with jm saddles around 65-80 armor

Our strategy was to rush the broodmother and kinda get under her to lock her in place, continuously smacking her with the megatherium while being boosted by the Yutyrannus. Once we got underneath her she all she could do was spin in place and I found that she did not attempt her web or acid projectile attack while we had her locked. We also made sure to kill araneo at the same time to get the bug buff, which she kinda helped with by spinning in place dropping araneos all around us. Any other questions feel free to ask! Just letting everyone know you can comfortably beat brood with two mate boosted imprinted megas with capped saddles if you have like 20k hp and 700+ melee after level this should be enough to do it with this method. Also you have to have one person tank at a time and the person tanking has to be under the brood so it doesn’t spit on you. When you get low just swap out and you’ll beat the boss with both megas at around 1/3 to 1/2 hp left also find the headbutt attack that is very important if ur megas are not good just use 3 megas and do the same method it should be really easy

What are your suggestions for solo or 2 people who arent in the same tribe 1 how many megatheri we would need? 7400hp 331m base stats

@@inkriver if ur solo just get an army of a piss ton of megas and tank with your imprinted mega then whistle the megas on the back of the brood. I never use this method but it should work

That’s what I would do if going solo as well, but the yuty could come in handy as well… just get a bunch ready and whistle em while spamming the yuty roar, can’t go wrong.
