We need to sign Alfie Doughty! Just seems like a no brainer. We lack any sort of real creativity out wide. He provides that in spades. Was arguably one of the best crosser of the ball last season in the Prem. A set piece specialist. He's also surprising competent defensively for a attacking wing-back. Great ball winner. And to top it off. We can get him for a bargain fee. So why haven't there been much noise about him signing for us. Meanwhile Newcastle and Brentford are linked with him.

Branthwaite is basically two footed and has pace so you could play him at LCB, RCB and (in a pinch) at LB/RB. Having flexibility in a defender is incredibly valuable.
