hello Murad. i downloaded your Eng. Arab translation. my question is: if the original Quran did not have punctuations could this mean that some Arab words can have same letters but different meanings? second question is about the use of words from different languages in Quran. there are parallel words in many sematic languages that may sound the same but sometimes have different meanings. example: DIN in Arabic means conviction while in Hebrew Din means judgment. could the writers of Quran borrowed the Hebrew DIN that by coincidence sound the same as the Arabic DIN?

Comment I was going to write in the chat. Saint Murad's remark about untranslated words being a mistake of the author reminds me of the difficult to translate words in the New Testament as well, such as βαττολογέω. Many translations use entire phrases to translate this peculiar hapax legomenon (one of a kind words), which to me looks something like "stutter-speak." This unique word occurs in Matt 6:7, when Jesus is explaining how NOT to pray, so it is very important to get this correct. But many Christians don't even know there is a very complicated theological question at play here. Saint Murad's translation will no doubt go a long way in exposing to the careful Christian student of the Quran similar issues within Islam, and promises of a limitless future of exegetical possibilities for even Muslim audiences who learn to accept the gift Saint Murad has given us. Saint Murad will make it possible for Christians to bring Muslims to a serious attitude toward their own Holy Scriptures, serious attitudes that have long been common place to believers in the West, but seems strangely absent from many Muslim exegetes, who trust as authoritative non-Arabic, Persian exegesis of their own Holy texts when there is no good reason to.

Excellent work ... Well done. To support at this time, I have just purchased the lite-version for now for a first reading. Have been waiting for this unvarnished translation of the Quran without the false SIN narrative for a very long time. I had also bought Robert Spencer's Critical edition of the Quran but it is still translated according to the SIN narrative. We need to spread this fresh and truthful translation around. Truth needs to be told again and again. Falsehoods which are usually very persistent need to be exposed and debunked. One book at a time. It is far too long that the fake Quran(s) according to the SIN goes unchallenged to continuously blight the lives of millions around the world by closing their unenlightened minds.

Hi there! I’m currently reading Riccoldo de Monte Croce’s critique of the Koran. He discusses a verse, S33 V43, whereby God and the angels pray for Muhammad. His point being that God is God and does not pray. I googled the reference and the Islamic translations all obscure this. I use your translation to find clarity and there it is. “It is he who prays over you and his angels…” Honestly, this religion is so deceptive. It knows exactly what these verse say, but it protects its deceit. Your translation will be a valuable tool for me (and all) in the future, so thank you! 🙏

This is one of the weirdest developments I’ve ever had in my entire life. I always wanted to read the Quran for knowledge’s sake and now that I’ve been trying to do so I get this video. I ended up delving into Hadith and the Quran, and the problem that rose with my reading, and more than that, the structure of reading them, is the late origin of Hadith as well as now it seems to be that the translated origin of the Quran seems to compromised, as well 🙃. If your video and development are true then I can’t wait to delve in what would be THE actual and only translation uncorrupted by SIN 😅

Hello Saint Murad, I have downloaded the free version of your Quran translation book. I have two questions about words that I find interesting. First, I noticed that you seemed to struggle with translating the word "Tasbih". Why did you find it difficult to translate that word? As far as I know, Tasbih comes from the root Sabah, which means "to move away" or "be removed." For example: "سَبَحَ الطِّفْلُ فِي الْبَحْرِ and سَبَحَ الفَكْرُ فِي فَضَاءِ الْمَعَانِي." Second, you chose not to translate the word Ar-Rahman. In Arabic, the suffix "-an" indicates a quality, while "-im" indicates an action. Derived from the root R-H-M, Rahman means someone who is personality extremely merciful, while Rahim means someone who frequently shows mercy by action. I would greatly appreciate your thoughts on these two points.
