I showed my wife this song. I suffer from mental health issues and with the way this year has gone, without her I probably wouldn't be here today. I thank her for keeping me going. I thank Pentatonix for making music that helps distract me from myself and I thank you (reactors) for giving us a bigger sense of community (I don't know any pentaholics offline) but I love to see others whose lives are also touched by Pentatonix.

We've collectively gone through a year worse than most horror movies. Nobody should apologize for having an honest reaction to it. The only type of person who'd say otherwise would be the same people who insist the "bad year" is all in our heads. Thank you for giving pure reactions to these videos. I think we've all cried more than once during this song. It's a beautiful song about all kinds of love. Some die-hard fans don't like this because of the piano but I don't think it takes away from their credentials as an a capella group.

Same for me. It's been a year that has been one hit after another and if not for God I'd have never made it. I don't even know why I'm still alive. But with little bits of light sprinkled into every day by my adult children and my pet it's very helpful and I'm so thankful for the blessing of having adult children that speak to me daily. Those puppies in the video are Scott's new puppy and Kirstie's 3 dogs. The littlest puppy is "Floof" and he went on tour with them for their North American leg of their World Tour and their 2019 Christmas Tour. Scott, Mitch and Kirstie need puppies and baby animals to pet and the crew has been arranging for baby animals to be brought in for them to play with and pet and love on in different locations for the last couple of years. It helps to keep people from getting home sick because they tour so much! Everybody loves animals! Bringing Floof along the last 2 tours has really made a difference in Mitch. He played with Floof so much and Floof loves Mitch. Mitch even rode on the tour bus which he hadn't done since Avi left. It was so good to see Mitch having fun again! And then it all came to a screeching halt with the pandemic and none of them are seeing each other after practically being together every single day of their life. I'm so glad they found a way to make music as it helped to keep things feeling normal for those of us out here that are their fans. And it was so good to see that they were able to be together to sing in person again. I'm so glad they decided to make a video for this in spite of the fact that there's a piano involved. It's been an especially trying year and all of us have somebody to thank for helping us get through it. It's an absolutely beautiful song and I still cry when I listen to it. When they released it to their patreon they simply said "All we can say is Thank You 💛" So I think they also wanted to say thank you to their fans, even though originally the song was a thank you to a loved one. They've allowed it to become a song we can use to thank whoever helped each one of us through this past year.

I am right there crying with you. I have been listening to this song on repeat for the past week and it still hits me hard. Having lost my wife of 26 years 4 years ago this January, the holidays just tear me up inside. They were always such a joyful time for us and now they rip my heart out. I thought we had so much more time together with her only being 47 when she died. The one thing that sustains me is knowing that we never missed a chance to tell each other how much we loved the other every time we spoke.

My reason for crying is because I haven’t seen my mother in a year and a half. I won’t go in-depth with that but it has been really hard for me without her. Not to mention I lost all of my friends because of a false rumor that I was cheating on the loml. I miss her and my mom every day. When I first heard this song I was stuck in place for the next hour, tears streaming down my face without me making a sound. I’ve thought about ending it several times this year but I keep going because I know that there has to be something better coming my way. If you see this, Dennis and the rest, I want to thank you. Your videos have really helped me over the past couple of months and really made a difference. I watch a lot of reactors but you are one of the few that I actually watch on a daily basis and that I always try to be at the premiere for your videos. and so as it goes "I can't believe this year you got me through. the least I can do, is thank you" Anyway, I loved your reaction. I love them all equally, don't get me wrong, but among them no one can deliver emotions like Scott does through his volce. This song and this video were greatly needed.
