@@virgilhilts3924 It is actually people like you have no empathy and judge someone so harshly that is the drain on society. It depends on where you live and, who owns them and, takes care of them! Because, I can tell you every where the Section 8 Apartments are different all across the country! Your just wanting to go off of her story! But, trust me that just isn’t always the case! Not everyone has their own little apartment house, where their built and designed the same way! They all vary and, keep in mind this is low income housing, I live in a Section 8 Apartment Complex and, I live in small town Indiana and, mine is very different and again, it’s a very different truths! Basically till you live in some of these Section 8 Apartment Complexes and, trust me in some cases there are issues you do have to contend with! That’s why people want to move out of them but, can’t afford to do so! One person’s story doesn’t turn every single Section 8 Apartment Complexes Perfect!

People can comment making judgements but could never even fathom the depths of hell many of us have had to walk to get to a place of safety. @@deborah866 I have compassion for those who deserve it. She had plenty of time to work and plan and save. We have to stop the abuse and slavery of taxpayers to people who do not earn their own way. If she is sick and on the street she could go to a church where it doesn’t cost the taxpayers. Churches receive tax breaks and donations to help the needy. The taxpayers pay for their share of the taxes too that they ( churches) don’t pay. I’m sick to death of people taking advantage of the taxpayers.

What an interesting lady! She has quite a story. It's good to see how she uses her resources to make a decent life for herself. It's sad that people have to do so much to be able to afford rent, groceries and healthcare. Thank goodness for food banks and the volunteers who stock them and help people get what they need. Her place is so tidy and nicely personalized. And Gracie the chihuahua is adorable and well mannered.

@@virgilhilts3924, I know you think you've done something there by using examples of people that were able to overcome their obstacles. Respect to them, but not everyone can do that. Your anger and lack of understanding hinders change in society. We need to become educated about mental illness, childhood trauma, addiction, etc. It's real, it's life long, and it's cruel. Do some research and then get back to me.
@justmyopinion2
@justmyopinion2 Жыл бұрын
@@virgilhilts3924, 1. I am sure you are convinced that you KNOW stuff. 2. Addiction isn't like recovering from a cold. Drugs today are very addicting and we do NOT have a support system out there for people that NEED help. 3. Reread your initial response, it certainly isn't warm and fuzzy. 4. You don't understand the intricacies of addiction and mental illness, it's painfully obvious. 5. Lest you forget, we have shuttered mental healthcare facilities leaving people on the streets. Years ago we were better at helping people. I don't think everyone deserves a trophy but I do fully understand that we don't problem solve as a society. For example, a homeless person is addicted living on the streets, we might arrest them sending them to jail to punish them rather than addressing the root cause of the addiction. I think drug dealers and severally affected addicts should be sent to a rehab facility for a year, not jail, the same for the mentally ill that have lost control. 6. ⏫ Same reply. 7. You are real funny, aren't you? 🤪 I don't blame, I understand addiction and mental illness issues. I also KNOW how we aren't addressing those issues and until we do, things will stay status quo. PS, I am likely older than you, but hey, thanks!
