Gary Velazquez I always asked myself that same question. Why not do drag in interviews or shows. But I had that theory. It would've been very uncomfortable. oabuseer actually the term drag (dressed resembling a girl) is where the term drag queen comes from. it was first used in 1870 in Europe, most believe to be Uk. Shakespeare popularised it as women weren't allowed on stage and men had to play all roles.
