Or does it? I stretch after my runs. Bending is more used. I am okay with stretching too. Vibrato is very personal in guitar playing. Invariable how fast or slow it is. Or how wide.

Thank you, Eric, for sharing your knowledge and wisdom. Your lessons are fantastic, super helpful, and draw attention to a useful cause. You have been making a significant difference in peoples' lives in so many ways. I can only speak for myself, but hearing the Tones album changed my life. Your sounds, your lyricism, and these beautiful songs have been inspiring me since the mid-80s. Saw you in Hamburg in the early 90s and was fortunate enough to listen to the soundcheck and interview you. That certainly was a major highlight, too. Oh, and I finally figured out that the kind of 9V battery actually DOES make a tonal difference, esp. in Wah and Fuzz, as you have been saying all along ;) Greetings and much love from Germany.

I'm not sure what fascinates me the most: how great his bends sound or how he can simply play a note and have it sound marvellous without any bending or vibrato at all. How does one do that?!
@thetruthchannel349 Жыл бұрын
Thats a good question. I think its just the person. The fingers themselves are conduits for what is the collective soul and heart in a player. The notes are brought to life by this and nothing but this.

Eric...that elusive vibrato...Been trying to figure out how you do it for a long time now! I had the video go in 0.25 speed and noticed that your vibrato is quite wide, about 1.25 step. I am not a pro, but I believe your vibrato is so elegant and gives me one more reason to love your beautiful guitar tone. Also, thank you fso much for posting these videos and asking people to donate during those hard times.
