I used to drive for an LGBT minicab company (long before Uber was a thing) and was sent one night to a West End theatre stage door. There was Miriam, and she insisted in riding shotgun up front with me ... and chatted to me like I was a long-lost friend. Absolutely the best person to share a cab with ... ever.

I got her book in the Audible version as she narrates her book herself and I wanted to hear her story in her own voice. Miriam Margolyes is a hoot and I will watch anything she is performing in no matter the genre. I lost my wife a few years back and have had little to smile or laugh about until I found her on you tube. She makes me laugh and brings a joy back into my life that I thought was gone forever. Thank you Miriam Margolyes and thanks to Graham Norton for his wonderful program. Wonderful guests and entertainment is always the norm but if I may, more Miriam Margolyes please!

His schoollife inspired an entire movie series and his best known standup story, "THE MACHINE" is now being turned into film. If you recall The Hangover movies, his real life partying was crazier and in scarier places than that. The Machine story is about him as a college student in Russia.

I wish they can sit on a couch together soon. Guests sitting on the couch close together is much better and match with theme of this show than sitting far away like this. Graham's show is all about building strong connections amoung guests and all sitting close together facilitates it.

She always makes for an interesting guest. One of her funniest moments on this show was when she said that having seen Laurence Olivia she said “I creamed my knickers”. The other guest Mathew Perry looked very disturbed when he heard this, which made it even more funny.

A new Miriam story I hadn't seen before and she didn't disappoint once again. Paul's face as it built up added to the hilarity then Stephen's "Oh Miriam" like an old friend gently scolding her. Priceless. These incidents do seem to gravitate to Miriam.😆

I would be shocked if Graham had any guest he loves more than Miriam. No one can beat her stories. NO ONE. But at this point only a fool would try to sip a beverage while seated next to her whole she is sharing one of her life adventures. In general sharing a stage with her is not for the faint of heart. I suspect Matthew Perry is still in therapy.
