I just wanted to say how much I respect you for being one of the first “girlfriends” to speak your truth. I remember how awful some outlets and people treated you when your first book was released. Watching Secrets of Playboy has been a hard watch. I really do believe you opened the door to these conversations and for victims to finally heal. It takes a lot of courage to do what you did while the puppet master was still alive.

Unfortunately people are still victim blaming, they (those victim blaming) don’t understand how abusive relationships work or control works. I agree, Holly was always so respectful with how she spoke about her experience and it was not for drama and just explaining her experience

Definitely agree, super brave. I just watched Sandra theodore’s more in depth part of the playboy documentary and omg. I said to my husband, wow Holly paved the way for this woman to speak her truth. Her story had me in tears and I literally wanted to reach through the screen to hug her. I applaud you Holly 💖

@@liveloveresell2886 Sondra’s story had me in shock and tears too. Her last part where she talks about wanting someone to love her and not what she can do for them had be BAWLING. I HATE that she constantly feels like people want from her or that she has to give herself to people. That long lasting trauma made me cry so much for her. I was so angry after her episode.

Holly starting to work at the playboy studio completely kept this show alive and interesting in my opinion. Of course the mansion stuff & the parties & trips with all 3 girls involved was entertaining, but home much longer could that have gone for? Holly working at the studio opened space for not only her individual storyline outside of being a girlfriend but for the other girls too.

That is so awesome that Paris was so nice to y’all. She looks so friendly and sweet. I love how the women were made to feel special and all dolled up with the playboy makeover. In my eyes you were always the *mom* looking out for the girls. Love you always Holly ! ❤️❤️

JUST received my copy of Down The Rabbit Hole, I'm already 30 pages in! I've been revisiting The Girls Next Door along with you. It's crazy how much differently I view the show in my 30's as opposed to how I felt about it when it initially ran....apparently I'm not alone. Keep up the fantastic work, I'm always rooting for you.

You’re the best Holly, I don’t know if it’s any consolation but you and Bridget are the bright spots in these episodes upon rewatching, I’m nearly 40 and you don’t know what it means to watch you dismantle the myth that I bought back then. I kinda sensed it but your standing up and rebelling means so much. You are healing a lot of the internalized hate I had for myself back then.

Looooved that episode! The model kind of gave Adriana Lima vibes like very sultry but also sweet and kind too. It was really cool seeing you do something creative and bringing the whole shoot together to a winning vibe. I always remember the "hint of a man" idea of having something in the background that would hint at masculine energy just cool how much detail there was 🙌
