Even with all the editing, that show you can see and feel so much from watching it. It's obvious she's not lying. Body language, eye contact and all the clues to back her up are so clear on the show.

I think that a lot of the playmates who talk down on Holly’s experience and basically call her a liar are in denial. I think they probably did several things they aren’t proud of and are going through quite a bit of cognitive dissonance.

Holly, I’m a big fan of yours. I’m a 24 year gay male from California and I can relate so much to your experience at the mansion and being one of hefs girlfriends. A few years back I had moved to Chicago to be one of 4 boyfriends of a wealthy 70 year old man for… obvious reasons. I remember walking on eggshells around him and playing little Susie homemaker obeying all his rules and restrictions trying to stay on his good graces and at the time I didn’t notice his psychological manipulation tactics or when I did I’d pretend to be okay with it. Even after finding out he had taken advantage of me in a sexual manner while I was black out drunk I pretended to be okay with everything and even after I had moved out on my own it took YEARS for me to be honest with myself about the toll being one of his boyfriend had taken on my mental health. It wasn’t until after I started reading up on story though these past few months, that I had become comfortable enough speaking about it all more openly and process it with my therapist. You’re a huge inspiration. So thank you 💕

Like OMG.... My life has been so difficult being pretty and being kept. Boo hoo hoo. I've been there, done it too. I had my precious wonderful life partner. Sadly , he passed away. He was my all. Then I had two other great white men who took care of me after. Did I know things were expected. How to conduct my self. Were there fights, yes. Jealousies from both ends with all three. Heck Yeah! You went in knowing exactly what you would be expected to do. Don't cry . You enjoyed all the perks after you kneeled and raised those bottom legs. That's why you went in, in the beginning. Where am I at now? (No one asked but..) I have my struggles as everyone does. But, I am now independent. I have the only man in my life, my dog. Who runs my life. Chihuahua. A Latin Boy with a Chi hua ,go figure. And I am the happiest. Is it scary at many times? F yeah! But I wouldn't have it any other way. My own humble apartment in San Diego. My dog. My health. My struggles. And I am loving every minute of it. Thats why I have a major issue with holly and your story. At times , because those men were there for us. Yes, they weren't all perfect. But SH.T, ARE WE?! HELL to the N.O. , NO. But I still like Holly. Try to see ones point is what I learnt. Even if you don't agree.

I went through a similar situation like you, back in my early 20’s I was the holly of the group. Except I established my independence from the beginning. Except the other guys were not so put together, with drugs involved and meat up background childhoods. I’m just happy I was able to leave when I did, and I’m thankful I always had my sanity and strong will to keep me aligned with my future.

Hi Holly! I know you get tons of messages, but I just wanted to say how much I respect you. We share so many of the same interests, and it’s just so nice to see someone in the public eye who isn’t afraid to show the world what they are passionate about. I’ve been following your career since the GND days, and seeing you become the woman you are today has been such a pleasure. Watching your KZbin reactions, and just having finished listening to your interview with Call Her Daddy has really been an incredible insight into your personal growth. You’ve come so far, and it’s amazing to see. You speak your truth and don’t apologize for it, and that is something that I’ve learned from you. No one can take away our truth no matter how hard they may try. From one Disney nerd to the other- thank you for being you. You are a bright light in an often dark and judgmental world. All the best to you and your family and merry Christmas. I can’t wait for the mini series!

I was struck by that scene that made u nauseous as well. the reason your truth was shocking was because it was at complete odds with how he portrayed himself to the public and we see it 100% in the show he put on in this scene. What may have triggered you were the words he spoke not actually matching the reality of things. Telling everyone at the table he was the happiest he’s ever been and mostly because of you while never actually telling you that or showing you that gratitude himself, your reality being walking on eggshells and feeling like you were replaceable/ in a revolving door relationship. I can see why that would be hard to watch and relive. 😔

I'm watching the documentary - Secrets of the Playboy Mansion". I'm just surprised at so much and bummed out because all my life I thought Playboy was glamorous and desirable. Now all I can say is that he was a master manipulator and big time DISGUSTING pervert. Glad I didn't get accepted into the magazine when I was 26. I was already beyond the age limit for a non famous person. God bless you Holly, I'm glad you survived the ordeal you went through. I'm glad the situation improved at the mansion after GND started.

Omg yes Holly! The theme song and the 'hidden in plain sight' thing is so true. Viewers are programmed to automatically assume that none of what we see is real...even if it's right in front of our eyes. If it's on TV, its automatically discounted as entertainment so 'it doesn't count. The show was openly hilighting an organized crime ring under the guise that it's just entertainment.

Oh yeah that was when he still had like 9 girlfriends, one of them had a monkey…she lived in the room Bridget eventually had. I think she got kicked out for having sex with one of jlo’s husbands. NO idea if that’s true but that was the rumor around the interwebs.

I think I remember that too! Before the show when he had a bunch of gfs they would show them at red carpets on tv sometimes and I always thought Holly stood out because of her short hair!

You’re adorable holly, And I really enjoyed this series! It’s nice to see behind the scenes. Especially when such shady stuff went on! I also love the camera placement so we can see in the mirrored bed without getting sued😂 a true ravenclaw.

i dont believe anyone is lying. they just experienced things differently, thats all.everybody is telling the truth whether theyre talking about what actually happened or their perception of how wtv happened. we're all different people, of course we are going to take things into perception differently.

In Germany, if you want to celebrate your birthday, you pay for your friends to come to your party. You bring the cake and the goodies, and they bring you a present, likely chocolates, flowers, or a bottle of wine. As an American, it was quite a culture shock.

It’s funny because GROOMING is still not really common knowledge. But clearly HE was very manipulative and a master at GROOMING. Predators create normality around their sinister world. And on the outside it looks like it’s ok because no one is batting an eye. It’s all smoke and mirrors. It’s like the story of “The Emperors new clothes”. No one wants to be the one that points out it’s not right. Well done Hollie on speaking up of the truth. I’m sure now you can see clearly how HE did what HE did. And think of certain scenarios and shake your head on how you didn’t catch on earlier. But it could have been worse. You could have been the one that married HIM. Look at how far you’ve come. HE was good friends with Bill Cosby and Charlie Sheen. Say no more.

Kendra’s mom’s friend wanting to wrap the poster in panties always seemed like a set up to me. Because that’s how she magically found Kendra’s mom’s outfit, she just happened to put it in that same drawer for her friend to find later…could have been real I guess but seemed too perfect to me. If it was real then yeah, wtf? I would’ve asked Bridget I bet she kept stuff like that somewhere😛

The playmates of the 70s are honestly the most beautiful ladies . Think about it , makeup back then was gross. They did not have the same cheats available to them as woman today have. They were beautiful on their own.

Hi Holly! Were there any instances where you were told to dress a certain way to portray your "character" on the show? I'm curious because of how you previously noted that the three of you each had a distinct persona presented in the show.

Okay, so something weird I noticed (that was different from the dvd) was they put in a LOT more dialog and extended scenes for one person than anyone else... All the other scenes stayed the same. Not sure if this is the case for the other episodes since I rewatched most of season 1 on KZbin and they're dvd version. Just something weird I noticed. Also, they combined the first two episodes of the season.
