I think most great musicians are. Much like it´s their language, if that makes any sense? I think they listen to music a bit different than most of us. Maybe one small transition means a whole lot to them, that we don´t even notice, but it builds on whatever they played for the last three minutes. I see this also in dance, as a friend of mine is heavily invested in this art. In time, I understand more and more of his view, but it is not native in me, like I can see it in him. It is very much like a natural reaction to whatever someone else does on stage. So I think it is fair to say that proper musicians, or rather all true artists have their own language. Or maybe more languages per art, for all I know. But this is one of the pieces that cements that thought in me. That some people have other eyes or ears then me. Somehow, this all plays out to my benefit, so I will simply lay back and enjoy!

I only mention it because back when this was released, most black teens would raz you if you listened to hard rock music, Even if you listened to and was a big fan of "soul music. You could possibly lose some of your precious "street cred" I told them "Whatever I eat won' ever give you a stomach ache" I had more issues after that. I even introduced a couple of my homies to the genre. Oh well, it was much different country back then. I'm in the process of listening to hard rock to compile a download list. Wow awesomely amazing... Jethro Tull definitely a LEGEND. Gave me memories from the '70's and chills and tears as friends no longer around to hear this magnificent song with a symphony...

Ian is one of the best. I grew up in the 60's and saw Tull live. UNBELIEVABLE

This is an amazing arrangement. A perfect fusion of such a different kind of music, a classical orchestra and a rock band, and a remarkable recreation of a theme that is firmly known as a legend. Finally, Ian Anderson's voice is, in this case, at the top of the vocal interpretation.
