I get the impression however that they're trying to get heat from the wrestling fans just for the sake of heat, and they do it by doing things the wrong or hokey way, to get heat. While he can't be at ringside for the match, he CAN provide advice to them on the way and be defiant about the decision as much as he can. A few weeks ago Tully tried to break Matt Jacksons ankle. Of COURSE the Bucks would lobby to have him banned from ringside. Honestly, if Jim can't pay attention to the story that's literally right in front of him I don't know what to tell him. I can forgive AEW for not coming up with something that clever, but fact is that they had a potentially classic feud in the palm of their hands and they pretty much blew it right out of the gate. I thought it was a good match overall(with a bad finish), the best Bucks match in AEW and a great performance by FTR but Cornette is right, why have FTR lose there so soon? AEW just plainy cannot understand heat and psychology. Imagine if FTR had kept the belt longer then when The Bucks would have won it, it would have been special. All the things he mentioned how the match could have played out would have been great. This is how you do a storyline. AEW cannot book stories. It's just meaningless matches.
