I have a hard time thinking of counters to any one of those save Danhausen. He's got his lil' very nice very evil following and the AEW paycheck's a bonus. Otherwise, criminey, does anyone have the record Tony does of smothering talent when they're hot? He learned the wrong lessons from Smokey Bear. Or the right lessons from the people who want to stay where they are and don't want the flames of better talent nipping at their heels. Maybe both.

When I say AEW is a mud show I mean it in the best way and what I mean by the NXT Wrestlers been better what I mean is the rustler does the moves better more Criisp More realistic looking their moves are executed better and what I mean by when I say AEW as a most shell but I mean it in the best way AEW does the crazy matches the Deathmatch is exploding Barbwire matches up dog collar matches gimmick matches more so than WWE Does And when WWE does a gimmick match they’re not that good they don’t execute their gimmick matches as well as they execute their normal professional wrestling matches and that’s where AEW shines I mean AEW has had some classic matches such as Hangman Page vs Bryan Danielson Cody Rhodes vs Brodie lee or Jon Moxley vs Chris Jericho Cody Rhodes vs Dustin Rhodes those are just some of the classic matches that I can think of that word as good as any WWE matches my point is they’re doing two different styles of wrestling and when you come right down to it I love all wrestling so they’re both excellent and awesome promotions as far as I’m concerned ☘️🇺🇸🤘⚡️⚡️

Shida is bankable, unlike Thunder Rosa, who also didn't get any promotion. Britt Baker, on the other hand, was a chosen from day one in AEW's promo game. Yet, she's not as good as Rosa in the ring. She's not any better than Shida.

WWE NXT drew 676,000 viewers, down 8% from last week, with a 0.18 rating in the 18-49 demo. AEW was #8 for the night while NXT was #12. They both had competition from the NBA game between the Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers, which had 2,984,000 viewers and a 1.24 rating, and another game between the Warriors and the Lakers, which had 3,551,000 viewers and a 1.42 rating. There was also an MLB playoff game between the San Diego Padres and the Philadelphia Phillies on FS1 that had 4,099,000 viewers and a 1.0 rating. ~~~ NXT maintained a steady viewership throughout the show while AEW Dynamite saw a massive dip from the first quarter to the last quarter. Dynamite lost 400k viewers through the show and ended at 650k having begun from 1.062 million.

We see the real rating powers of AEW when it's moved to another day, has real competition, and can still barely beat NXT by 80k viewers. If it wasn't for the 1 million lead-in from Baseball, AEW would have to NXT. This is including hot shooting 4 championship matches. But then again you continue to put Pockets, JeriBloat, Wheelie, Garica, RIHOOOOO, Moxley, and Hangman on the show. Minus MJF and the Regal prove you can skip the entire show. Yet Tony and the BloatGod continue to claim they can beat RAW & Smackdown.

I stopped caring about AEW when I realized it was just a silly indie show at big arenas. There are indie shows out there that actually look and feel more serious than AEW. They do not know how to capitalize on someone that is hot (many examples). They work using the "flavor of the month" formula and those have run out. BTW, what a waste BD/DB has been. The fact that he is so far away the title picture is hard to belive. Maybe he is content in making good money and do little work. But here we have a guy main eventing WMs and winning titles less than 24 months ago now being a "nobody" on AEW.

Yeah, that took a surprise left turn to Long Beach there... It's true, though. Greg is a double-dipping embezzler and a filthy thief. When even members of Sonic Youth, Meat Puppets, and Dinosaur Jr. break the indie music loyalty united front conventions and call you out in interviews for your "creative" accounting, something is definitely up. Henry Rollins still calls him a "musical genius" to this day, but always points out that a lot of people still haven't been paid by him. Henry did a funny bit a few years ago, about a fan baking a birthday cake with the "Black Flag bars" on it and how he wasn't sure he could put a picture of it on the internet because Greg would try to sue him over it (again)... I'm not going to lie I didn't have too much of a problem with pockets in the beginning. But as I started watching Jim and seeing this sh*t every week this guy does not need any kind of Title belt. @@reubenelite Long term story is overrated. Sorry, but if something is better, you correct course, not just continue because it was the plan you had. Imagine a football team running the same 20 plays in the same order regardless of the actual situation on the field. Even a TV show might rewrite, and not kill off a character if the character and actor end up being really popular with fans. I know we disagree, but I think Hangman is like an Impact level world champion, not a top promotion level world champion. If it's the story, then they should have given that story to someone else.

I was originally overexcited about the idea and creation of AEW, but now I feel it's a sinking ship. I don't think Tony understands what he's doing. It's very frustrating. He's just producing the show for a super niche audience. It will still with Rampage being cancelled and devolve from there once network execs realize Dynamite and Rampage are essentially the same thing. My prediction is NXT rebuilds and overtakes or strongly challenges AEW in ratings.
