I am surprised, honestly. Jericho is been in business long enough to be able to be a good booker. He is plenty creative. Loved him in WCW and in Japan as Lionheart... "C'Mon Baby" pin is awesome. His feud with Malenko was great. While I am not quite a Jerichoholic (another WCW reference), I always appreciated Chris. Basically MJF is trying to be what Jericho in WCW was. Except Jericho even now, tons better in the ring.

Punk'd is a literal cancer and has buried all competitors in AEW. He did the same in WWE. He buried Cena, Rock and Roman and if you look at the nitty gritty he buried everyone else in WWE like Bryan, Ryback, Henry, Ziggler and Miz and others during his dime less run at the top. It sounds like AEW needs a good make over and a shuffle. You have Regal there , hell give him the book see what he can do. Trim the fat on some of the roster and or start making them team up especially since you have a trios title. Promote Dustin Rhodes to being the online Authority figure. He is old enough to relate to the old school, an has shown he can physically still go in the ring. OR have Sting play the GM role. Higher Finley to train the women's roster or find another suitable candidate to train them. Give the recognizable names things to do and have them feud with your future stars. Change up a few of these gimmicks and give actual direction and better gimmicks to others.

If we're being honest, there were more reports of fights in WWE at one point. I remember Big Show versus Khali, Batista versus Booker T, Chris Jericho versus Goldberg, Sheamus versus Yoshi Tatsu, Lita versus Stacy, Gregory Helms versus Rodney Mack, but AEW's scuffles seem so much more messy, at least to me, because I didn't learn about the WWE stuff until weeks, months, sometimes years after the fact. Jericho would have been ROH champ, in any era before AEW started. Jericho would be a step up from Steen, Xavier, Aries (twice) or Cody's reign. If its about age, Daniels and Jerry Lynn, weren't considered "too old". In fact, Jericho and Omega, built their feud on ROH shows. The ROH crowd exploded for Jericho.
