After all these years, Bill Engvall never fails to disappoint. The man has still got it absolutely brilliant stuff all the time and I don’t care who you are that there is funny.

I'll tell ya what's funny, people that go around everywhere with their cell phones glued to the side of their faces, not paying attention to what they are doing. I've seen folks walk into other people, slam face first into poles, walk off the curb of sidewalks & fall flat on their face, out into the street and get hit by oncoming cars. I could go on & on. Mine stays in my pocket, & if I need it I stop, use it and go on. It's funny as all get out some of the things ya see when folks are out walkin' around with it stuck to their face.

I used to get the most hilarious texts from my daughter via auto-correct! Seriously, I darn near peed my pants!
@kellyrobinson17805 күн бұрын
You know, my phone has auto-suggest/auto-complete. It pays attention to what I'm typing, tries to anticipate my next word or phrase, and offers suggestions that I can tap on and thus save typing time. Sometimes, the suggestions are right on; other times, they're completely off the rails. And I sometimes wonder, "what would happen if I wrote a few sentences in a text or a post or something, and just started using the "next-word suggestions" exclusively? What kind of crazy word salad would that result in? And could I use that idea to become a speechwriter for Kamala Harris? Bear with me: I'm gonna run that experiment right now. Here goes: "and the other day I had to get the cheesecloth for my first order to have it figured out how much you need to know about the car." Not bad, but I made some actual choices that time. I'm offered three words to tap on, per every suggestion, and I consciously chose some of the words. This time, I'll just choose the one in the middle, no matter what. 2nd try starts now: "pm I think I remember correctly and I think I remember correctly and I don't know what to do with it but I don't know what to do with it but I don't know what to do with it..." Ok. Got stuck in a loop. That's enough for now. I was curious, and now whoever reads this will know, too... If they ever even wondered in the first place. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I might need to drink a little less coffee...🤔

@kellyrobinson1780 That's hilarious 😂 Thank you for your experiment! There's nothing wrong with being curious! 🤗

I've never had a cell phone and wager 93.971% of those with cell phones do not need one either.

@@stacygorczyca2991 I'm 80-years-old, I've driven cross-country 17 times over the past 40 years and have N E V E R needed a cell phone. I have a phone attached to a wire which disappears into the wall which has an answering machine attached. As before, I'll wager 93.971% of those walking around with a cell phone, or 2, and a pager need neither. I don't live with "what ifs".

@@jerrycallender9352 I hate to disappoint, but the actual statistic is 93.969%, adjusted for 2024 national demographics, according to the latest Ratsmoussen survey. EDIT: I'm getting slow in my old age: what are you typing on, you old Luddite? 🤭✌️

it's not JUST cell phones i hate, i hate ALL phones.... cuz most of the time it's an id10t on the other end... last cell i used was a simple V3 Razor, and i quit using it when my provider wanted to charge me a shut off fee on a pay as you go plan.... also when i do use a phone it's ONLY for calls, not texting, not emails, not social media's, no thrills and no frills...
