@@eramusspooner yes, it was like, before i even digest his joke, he had already moved on to the next few ones...which was why i found (as what i said in my original comment) the "i paid for the iphone...my mom paid" was most impactful for me, because of the pause in the delivery, it gave me time to digest and that worked

Funny but he talks too fast. Can’t tell if the guy is nervous or that he has a limited amount of time to tell all his set jokes. When it’s rushed, it doesn’t allow the audience to fully enjoy and marinate in the joke. Audience need breathing room in between jokes as well . I also feel weird when a comedian laughs at his own jokes the hardest. But seriously though, other than delivery, his material is funny

I saw Preacher Lawson on tour in Vancouver last February. Sorry to say he isn't as funny as this piece shows him to be. He isn't ready for the big time that's for sure. Many many times during his show it was like he forgot his next line. None of the show flowed. He needs a few more years as an opening act before he is a headliner!
