When I was in the army I was unintentionally in a relationship with a guy. Maybe because I was a virgin or because i have always been tragically naive but i didn't know he was gay till years after we got out of the military. we went out to eat dinner at different restaurants several days a week, we would go to movies together, I even went on leave with him for Christmas and met his family. I thought we were just best friends. Both of them were wearing suits and they were hugging and his profile said gay and married. I guess he thought we were more than just friends, and I was just too clueless to see it. He never tried to do anything physical and I never got any vibes from him other than friends. Well other than when he was clearly upset I was with a girl. My wife still loves to tease me about it cause she has heard me talk about him all the time in different stories of mine from the army because we were in basic training together, a.i.t together and same permanent party and deployed together. She was there when I looked him up and saw he was gay and I was pretty surprised by it and she laughed for a long time. Lol.
