It doesn't have to be on Kamino at all Tipoca City being destroyed doesn't mean a Clone Rebellion will not happen honesty its more likely to happen now combined with Rex who is up to something maybe bring Clone commanders and captains together helping to turn their men on the Empire. We could get a much larger rebellion spreading across planets and Imperial bases rather than a single city on Kamino. People just want a Kamino uprising because its from Battlefront 2 but this just seems so much more interesting give us something new and unexpected and then maybe follow it up with the last Kamino scientists creating their own Clone army to fight the Empire which could be something we see in Season 2.

You can see from the nanosecond he speaks that he absolutely hates the clones, Kamino, the Kaminoans, all of it. Oh also for those not aware there was ment to be a space kamino mission. It never sadly occured but the dialogue, audio recordings/cutscenes were found in the ps version of the game. "To this day, I can't understand what motivated our creators to rise up against us. Had they gone mad?. Have we failed them in some way?. In the end, really didn't matter. The Kaminoians had to be stopped and their army of traitorous gene cousins destroyed, The first few kills were the hardest. After all, it’s hard not to get a little spooked when the enemy screams with your voice. We shook it off and did our job. Most of the troopers never knew about Kamino. Like a lot of things in the empire, it never really happened..."

Keeping the cloning facilities but downscaling hte program and oppressing the Kaminoans would've shown more power. This is more wasteful than anything else - and a show of hateful vanity. And the Empire could easily have suppressed a rebellion, since it's galaxy-spanning. The Kaminoans and their army would still take years to grow and try to go independent. And the Empire could've been aware of it from the start, letting it all happen just to show their power even more. Mix the new Disney canon with Legends so it makes sense. But destroying Kamino's cities is just DIsney's way of saying "We're never going to let that fake Legend canon ever happen, we'll never let you have it!" Well, more Lucasfilm and that insane story group. This was a massive waste for a really great potential story arc.

He says in the dialogue that the rebellion was 20 years after they were created. That's gonna put it several years after the events of the Bad Batch season 1. So aside from the city being destroyed, there's a lot that they could still do that's the same. It is heavily implied that there are other cities on Kamino (see Omega's line about the tube system) and it appears from earlier in the season that there are other planets that Kaminoans have colonized in the past. Now that the Empire has explicitly made them an enemy by destroying their home and (presumably) executing their leader, this may still happen in the future.

Perhaps the clone uprising did happen and that happened before Hunter was captured in the Bad Batch. It was expressed that there were only TK troopers and not any CT troopers and that could be a result of not trusting the clones around Kamino anymore. Also it was only implied that when the admiral was talking to the prime minister about the scientists going against the empire that they discovered the plot just before it started. It could still be brought up in season 2 as a story like it was told in the game but the story is being told by AZ who saw it all.

I prefer a mix between the two: When The Bad Batch get back to Kamino, the clones haven’t yet been evacuated and are instead being commanded by the stormtroopers. Somehow the bad batch convince all clones in the city that they don’t need the empire as the empire is replacing them, so they rebel against the stormtroopers. Since the clones are much better soldiers they kill most of the stormtroopers leaving the empire to retreat from the city and the clones celebrating that they had won. Then the Star destroyers emerge from the clouds and bombard the city, taking out most of the clone army with it. Perhaps the Phase 3 clones that the kaminoans mentioned could have been the army bred to take arms against the empire, and it would have been cool to see Boba Fett with the empire since the kaminoans said they couldn’t contact him

I love that the clone uprising on Kamino didn’t happen. Bad Batch just shows why it doesn’t make sense. Tipoca city is the most vulnerable city possibly, just on small stilts above water. Without a fleet defending it, it’s an easy target for an orbital bombardment. Also I like the idea that bad batch is hinting to Rex building his own force of clones who fought back of their own accord. Which would be a cooler rebellion anyway, even if it is doomed to fail

@@attilafekete7892 Yeah. It's just Disney wanting to kill off a part of Legends so it cannot ever appear in their new canon. People wanted the Clone Rebellion on Kamino - not exactly as it happens in Legends, but similar. The Empire in Legends/Lucas Main Canon is wasteful, but doesn't mindlessly waste and destroy entire facilities or cities the moment their vanity and ego is impaired. Destroying the city/cities of Kamino is just wasteful to the absolute extreme. We can see it with Rampart - his real reason for destroying Kamino's cloning faculties and likely other cities if not all of them outright, is not for the sake of the Empire. It's for the sake of HIMSELF. His absolute hatred for the Kaminoans, their clones, all of it. This is his vanity and stupidity acting, and it is not for the good of the Empire- this does more harm than good. The cloning facilities, training facilities, the planet's location, is ideal. There's only one way to Kamino that's safe, every other is incredibly dangerous if not outright impossible to use. A small fleet is enough to guard it, and decommissioning parts of cities and facilities elsewhere would provide materials for planetary defenses and shields that span the entire planet, making Kamino one of the safest planets in the galaxy - and after the Clone Wars, many people would likely forget any of it existed, as it had been lost from all public knowledge until Obi-Wan re-discovered it just before the Clone Wars begun. When a tyrannical regime wipes out all public and most private knowledge about something, the public tend to forget all about it very very quickly. This is just pure waste.

So just a theory here BUT........In Bad Batch they remark how the Shock Troopers are patrolling Tipoca City but there was not sign of the Kamino clones or Kamino Security Troopers. What if the Kamino revolt was gone through already while the Bad Batch was off-world and Disney just decided to skip it on screen?

I think it kinda makes sense that the clones had no saftey switch. The kaminoins were cocky they thought the Republic/Empire needed them not the other way around. Also in new canon the clones were phased out almost in the ending of the war, so it makes more sense for the empire not leaving the kaminoins any time to properly plan a rebellion

I hope we see a "secret cloning facility" revealed in season 2 that recreates this battle. The change being the Bad Batch is hired to rescue some Kaminoans. A cold-blooded Boba, early in his career, reprising his role as villain and seeing the 501st as the bad guys would be insane. This could be a heavy episode.

To be fair, in canon the Kaminoans were probably smart enough to know that if they fought back against the Empire they would get fucked. As far as this goes, one of their main cities was destroyed, with no casualties (minus some traitors).

What they really should have done in the bad batch, was have the uprising before the boys and omega land, once they land they see no clones and are told by the Med droid that there had been an uprising and many clones died and the remaining were shipped off planet.

I mean there are other cities other then the one we've seen so far, so the Clone Uprising may be will happen in those other cities, this is also just a Guess as we're given no knowledge if a Clone uprising happened or not.
