Geetsly's I think you’re overestimating the kaminoans. They’re damn good cloners, but not warriors. The biggest reason for the success of the Jango Fett clones on the battlefield was their TRAINING - training that was NOT provided by the Kaminoans, but by Jango Fett and other mandalorians of the Cuy’vul Dar, as well as other independently contracted bounty hunters. Without such skilled trainers on hand, it’s no wonder that the anti-troopers were crushed by the 501st. Even if they HAD pushed the Empire off Kamino, they would never have lasted long against the full might of the imperial war machine.

i actually wouldnt take it to that deep. id see the Kamino rebellion as a way for the Kaminoans to make a buffer and defense force. yes. everything you said is spot on. the issue though, is that Kamino has no official navy. If the Kaminoans where successful in creating a buffer zone against the empire, they might go with self-independence, and then start licensing out clones in batches to whoever wanted some. 2 thing would happen at this point: A. They would have been accepted as independent (which i dont think would be acceptable to the Empire's will) B. is a resource hole for the Empire. and the time of the Rebellion popping up, they could have made some kind of alliance. Though, the issue with this is that the Kaminoans where always in control of this massive army that the Rebellion was fighting with. So big, that the Rebellion might just be assimilated into the Kaminoan plot. That is unless the Rebels somehow where able to make an amazing striking deal with the Kaminoans. (1/4th of the universe and free trade sounds fine) in short. it wouldnt seem like your theory wouldnt take off too strongly due to a lack of a navy.

@Ike Zeal I think a few of them would have had to have known. The signs were all there something large was going to happen. From the bio-chip specs, to the somehow (probably a kaminoan mole) giving the separatists the blueprints to the Phase 2 clone armor to create cortosis armor as was found in the Thrawn novel. Or the very fact the Kaminoans knew that they were making clones for one person, when it was commissioned by the very person the clones were fighting. Maybe the rise of a Empire specifically was unseeable. But the signs were there something big was gonna happen, and something very corrupt was happening.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend...until our enemy is dead. The Kaminoans would have sided with the rebels out of convenience (regardless of what they thought of the rebels politics) and would've cloned their own special forces to pad critical rebel missions. Once the Empire was crippled they would've either retreated back into their mostly isolationist ways or they would've then crushed the new republic with a clone army to end all clone armies which they would've started working on from the moment they secured an alliance to deal with the rebels after the empire was done for.

Not in this case, Rebels had too many rules on ethics that they wouldn't bend. And because the Empire made so many clone labs, despite their inferiority, whomever owned them would end up a target as it would hinder the Kaminoan monopoly on cloning. I'd say they would make a new regime which they could make business with and didnt care for the morality of test subjects.

A nice Idea, but an army requires food, shelter, equipment, ships to transport them, vehicles to move them around and support them. Logistics where not on the rebels side so having a small mobile force capable to punching well above its weight at strategic targets was a far better tactic, its whats known as guerrilla warfare, since the rebels had no way of out competing the empire in terms of sheer logistics and brute force

Clones mostly fighting against Droids.

And since you want to get technical, Clones have Mandalorian DNA from one of the best Mandalorians at the time. Not to mention Jango was *MANDALORE* at the time as well. If you compare regular people against a warrior race I wouldn't reccomend you trying to place to totally different weight classes in the same ring. According to the cut Space Kamino level the Kaminoans were attempting to form a Rebel Coalition by sending GR75 Medium Transports out into the Galaxy while a Venator and 2 Acclamators protected the planet against an Imperial Star Destroyer and 2 Victory-II Frigates. The clone rebellion has two major problems going far. The first is time. It takes too long to grow new soldiers. Quality is great, but quantity is a quality in itself. The second is logistics. Troops need to be supplied, equipped, trained and led. The Kaminoans can provide food training and fresh troops, but weapons, ships, experienced leadership and supply lines shut it down beyond Kamino. Simply put, they don't have the necessary details to win much.

90% of droid factories which survived order 66 amd the fall of the seperatist were destroyed. The remaining factories were so well hidden and forgotten it be almost impossible to find them Not to mentiom they would be badly damaged and only functioning at around 25 to 50% capacity. But if the rebels did find them & in good condition.. They could have began production of AAT's & other droid vehicles, not to mention armys of super batrle droids and commando droids.

The Planet Rothana is next to Kamino, and was used to create Heavy Armored Vehicles in both the Republic and Imperial eras. Rothana Heavy Engineering produced many of the vehicles and ships that we associate with the Grand Army of the Republic, such as the LA/AT, Acclamator class Ship, and the AT-TE. Its also not farfetched for the Kaminoans to use this engineering hub to perhaps produce blasters and other ships if need be.

I disagree, there is no way the Kaminoans could have actually succeeded in their revolt. Even if a revealed rebellion had repulsed the Empire, the Imperial fleet would likely just blockade them. The Kaminoans can put out large numbers of soldiers, but equipment mostly came from offworld from places like Rothana. With supply lines cut off, the Empire could win a relatively easy war of attrition. If the rebellion had managed to get to its completed stage, the Kaminoans (depending on how many ships and weapons they had) could possible have taken Rishi (an excellent chokepoint guarding Kamino), Ukio (An agrarian world that could ensure the Kaminoan armies were supplied with basic necessity), and maybe Rothana (providing industry needed to mass produce weapons, vehicles, and even starships). If they struck fast enough, they might be able to nick those systems from the Empire, but it's doubtful they could hold them. The Imperial military and navy is just to massive, and is not totally reliant on those systems. The Imperials would launch a massive counteroffensive, likely overwhelming unfinished Kaminoan fleets and armies, and steadily pushing them back to their homeworld suffering whatever casualties were necessary to make it so. Once contained, the Empire would starve them out as outlined previously. For the Kaminoans to actually cement their expansion, the Empire would have to either not react harshly, or not react at all, which is laughably unrealistic.

I think the Kaminons that rebelled would have been easy to defeat once found out since they did not have access to their own weapons and ship facilities instead relying on other major contractors who I doubt would continue supplying a rebel clone group and the republic/empire.

I’m confused tho, I know the kaminoans could clone large armies but we never hear of them building a navy that could compete with the empires. Wouldn’t that mean that even if they liberated Kamino then they would just be blockaded?

Theres a planet next to Kamino, called Rothana, which is home to the Rothana Heavy Engineering company. It produced most of the Vehicles and Ships we associate with the Clone Armies such as the LA/AT, Acclamator Ships, and AT-TE. Chances are if the Empire was pushed off Kamino the Kaminoans would have enough equipment on hands to mount a quick rush for Rothana to capture it for use in producing a navy and heavy vehicles. Long term becomes more sketchy however, as Rothana only produced smaller ships and heavy ground vehicles, they'd need a true navy to besides fleets of Acclamators to truly win the day.

@@valeriogerardi9358 Easy, if a Clone Army overthrows the Imperial Garrison on Kamino there would obviously be ships and equipment left over, plus there would've likely been Ships already in use by the Kaminoans whom were under the Imperial Employ, wouldn't be hard to divert funds and supplies to an uprising when you have essentially unlimited manpower.

Quite an interesting video and alternate timeline. However something that I have yet to see be brought up is the fact that although the Kaminoans are great cloners they don't have any large scale ship manufacturing industries, one may have the best soldiers in galaxy but if one is unable to have fleets capable of transporting them and winning space battles the Kaminoans could only get a small handful of nearby systems. Is it also unlikely they would be able to find any allies that could provide them with this. For the mid-rim and inward major ship-yards consist almost solely (with few exceptions) on human populated worlds and all are more or less either pro-imperial worlds like Kuat who would be distrustful or even hateful of the Kaminoans, or pro-Rebellion worlds like Corellia who as stated would be pro-democracy and against authoritarianism. There is not much luck in the outer rim either. The Chiss are reclusive xenophobes. The Mon-Calamari are pro-rebel. The Hutts would find the Kaminoans to expensive and perfectionist for their liking and would probably mess with their status quo. And the former separatist factions like the Neimoidians and Muuns have all but had their facilities, wealth, and resources, confiscated or demolished by the Empire years prior. The Kaminoans would have an army, but little to no navy to speak of and no one either willing or able to help them effectively. Plus with few resources leading to an inability produce a military force on a large enough scale leaves the Kaminoans to be doomed from the very start.

If they can pick up Rothana (which is in their galactic neighborhood) that gives them a strong industrial base that would be able to produce both the vehicles and starships they would need. Rishi, which is practically a neighbor of theirs, could give them a steady flow of valuable fossil fuel resources to either trade with the rest of the galaxy or fuel their war machine. Finally, Bothawui is also in close proximity. If the Kaminoans can cut a deal to get access to the Bothan Spy Net, they suddenly become a much bigger threat.

Rothana Engineering is a subsidiary of Kuat Drive Yards only matched by Corella and Fondor in ship building and a major assist to the empire; any attack there would be noticed by the empire and lead to a quick mobilization of a small task forces fleet of VSDs and/or ISDs. Also having a large human population on the planet equipped with powerful defenses means the planet won't go down without a fight. As for Bothawui, Bothans being mildly xenophobic themselves (though not even close to the same extent as Kaminoans) and tending to stay neutral unless under direct threat means that they would not likely help the Kaminoans unless they had something to gain and even still they would not help very much.

But what about the fact that Clones take so long to make? Even if they were outputting a few hundred per day, the Empire would likely see them as a threat and wipe them out before it got started. Plus what about Weapons and Armor? There's only so much Phase 1 stuff laying around, they'd run out of equipment too fast. Plus there was SOME Kaminoans that were loyal to the Empire and made Imperial Clones, even during the Uprising, so wouldn't there be a civil war on the planet? Then what about Fleets? Rothana made the Aclamators and Vehicles of the Republic, while Kuat made the rest. They'd have no fleet, or at least they'd only have captured ships from the Kamino Fleet, assuming they break the blockade on their planet. Plus all their troopers are shinnies with rushed training going against Battle-Hardened Clones with full training. On top of all that, what of Admirals and Generals? Maybe the Clones would be the Admirals and Generals, but it since they had rushed training, they probably didn't learn how to lead, and again, they have no experience. Once Vader came in, assuming the first attack failed like in this hypothetical scenario, he'd use the rest of the 501st and maybe even the 212th or 21st Nova Corps, or even another legion like the 51st with armored vehicles to crush their rebellion. There's just too much stacked against them, and I feel as if it's realistic that they failed. Also I'm not saying that this video or channel is bad, and I do like the idea of a Clone Rebellion, I just wanted to point out the reasons why it wouldn't work.

Luke's adventure with his gang is only a small portion of the war in terms of galactic conquest. If luke did not joined the fight vader would actually not be disturbed in his conquest against the rebels, bottomline is the empire dominated in all star system which means overall the stormtroopers were very effective
