So when I saw this song on Marwan’s channel, I was NOT that familiar with Manav-I’d only seen a few ensemble pieces on KZbin. But I went from “who is this guy” to “subscribe to his channel!” Within the space of four minutes. This is so well done. I love both these guys, and I want to know more about Manav now.

Pineapple absolutely belongs on pizza! This was such a fun and interesting arrangement. I like the extra half-beat before the resolve. It brings an element of surprise/interest.

Pizza is good for (almost) any type of food. (The exception is mayonnaise with watermelon and peach slices. Whoever did that one was stoned AF.) Pineapple, corn, peas, artichokes, spinach.... Heck, I know people who think MUSHROOMS don't belong on pizza. Like, that's a STAPLE! Growing up, there were only two kinds of pizza in my family: pepperoni & mushroom (sometimes with olives if we were splurging past the 2-topping special) and ham & pineapple. I didn't even know other toppings existed until high school.

Personally (and I could be wrong) I think Marwan watches Mortius reaction videos just to take notes on how to break Mortius. It seems like Mortius has some sort of glitch every time he watches a Bass Gang related video whether it’s a Bass Gang video or a video by one of the members.

Their pause at the end was a full measure. I thought it was the right choice. MJ owned that song. It was impossible for me to imagine it done by any other singer(s). Marwan and Manav not only did it, but they turned the song into their own, which is the mark of true artists.

Also, I agree, pineapple out of a can has its place (on some cakes, ice cream, as a parfait ingredient) but not on a pizza. And I love Hawaiian pizza. Sogginess is may have its place in Chicago pizza, but not WETNESS. It's like what I mentioned in a comment above, that the WORST pizza abomination I have ever seen was mayo, watermelon, and peaches. CANNED peaches, at that! I'm glad I'm allergic to mayo and had an excuse not to get anywhere near it.
