Denzel's performance in the Equaliser series is outstanding. What also makes the series so watchable, not just once but repeatably so, is that all the villains are so good and not stereotypical at all. This creates a genuine sense of tension and conflict between the characters. The philosopher Aristotle said that "conflict was the essence of drama" and he was not wrong.

I SO love Denzel. He just walked up to Hollywood and said, This is to act, people. He is so frigging good in every movie he makes and yet he still blows me away, every time. I love the way he chews his jaw and his dead stare at enemies is frightening. He is a blessing to Hollywood movies.

One of my personal faves has to be Virtuosity its called where he plays a cop in a cyber punk future tracking down an AI that's had the mind of a serial killer programmed into it. Russell Crow is the bad guy in it & its awesome. Hard to believe that came out nearly 30 years ago*

It never ceases to crack me up when I see in a movie, somebody dramatically going to a door and turning the dead bolt lock. As if this in any way is somehow locking these poor souls in the room with no way of escape. I just find it funny, because I see it all the time in movies. I just wish some movie would make a joke out of it.... Some scene that goes like.... "Oh crap, did you see that?! He just locked the door. This is so bad. What are we going to do now Frank?! We are done for!" "Oh I don't know Pete, did you think of maybe turning that lock the other way, and opening the door?! You moron!"

He is highly respected among conservative groups and the U.S. military forces. Because of these attributes, he is obviously set apart from the decadence that is part of mainstream Hollywood and has spread across America.

Equalizer 3 was exceptional! Opening scene is just spectacular. One of my all time favourite scenes ever in an action film. 🫰 They should call this finale “The BRUTALIZER” because Robert McCall really be messing dudes up left right and CENTER. 😂🩸 Italy was a great choice for shooting location as it’s just beautiful, the stone & cobble spots mixed with some haunting visuals of torture & blood soaked relics blends bleakly into fun. Way more dark & broody then the first two films which I can appreciate, love Antoine's directing work. Denzel is one of the best actors of all time & this final conclusion in such an action/thriller heavy saga was well worth seeing on the big screen. Some surprisingly cool horror elements here as-well that reminded me of “Halloween.” Great to see Dakota Fanning Re-Unite with DW. Robert McCall embodies calm chaos within his own character & nature. The story is simple and works well as Denzel attempts to fend off the Mafia from his new Italian home town. ⏱⌚🎯🔥 Brutal and bad as heck. Denzel Washington is ruthless and efficient. No one else could look as stoic or menacing eating an apple standing over a dead corpse. Highly recommended viewing!
