@@syndicaterx One of my favorite moments in Comics between these two is when DD was injured and Peter put on the DD uniform. He traumatized Bullseye to the point the guy turned himself in and stayed there for years because all of his tricks that work against Matt did nothing to Peter. Similarly, Matt put on a Spider-Man costume and patrolled some when Peter was sick once as well. Which was also amusing as he got to see just how much NYC embraces Spidey and just how much the kids look up to him. DD uses fear tactics in huge amounts, he doesn't experience that kind of reaction often and it touched him.

The Daredevil reveal was just as crazy of a moment as the Tobey + Andrew Reveal, simply because barely ANYONE saw it coming. Everyone was so hyper focused on whether or not the other spideys were gonna show up, that when MATT MURDOCK showed up, people flipped. It was really interesting to watch. Everything we as the audience knows about Spiderman is very different from what the public in the MCU knows. There were no news recorders on Titan or during Endgame. So everyone has the general idea that "Spiderman helped take down Thanos" but that's really it. Expecially when this perceived super cool superhero "Mysterio" protects multiple parts of the world only to say that, "Spiderman attacked, betrayed, took over Stark's technology and killed me" it's almost expected for people to believe mysterio. I imagine that the in universe public and internet were very conflicted as well.

@@Doyourbest4245 No woman born in recent generations wants a "traditional man". Do you know why? Because traditional concepts of masculinity involved being extremely cold and aloof, never showing emotion and repressing personal feeling's in the aim of being "strong" (which ironically makes you incredibly fragile and usually snap at some point), they also involve not really listening to anyone elses feelings in turn. Being polite or being a gentleman is absolutely not equivalent to traditional masculine ideals, if anything it opposes some of them depending on the culture they come from. That isn't what any woman wants now, they want someone who is polite a respectful, yes, but hardly the traditional masculine ideal. In fact the vast majority of women I've known, including those I've been in relationships with myself, have much preferred guys who can open up and talk about problems and be vulnerable at some points. Being strong is good, but insecurity about emotion or other people's perceptions isn't strength. A traditional woman was supposed to shut up, look pretty, and take care of the kid's. It's hardly something to aspire to given we've moved past that point as a society.

This was another case of “why didn’t any other avenger choose to comment on the situation.” I get most of them are away off planet or what have you but I still feel like even a statement from falcon could have helped settle the court of public opinion. Ultimately I know it’s because it would ruin the movie and peters struggle and choice in the end but it was one of the first things that came to mind for me.

Falcon was busy telling the world to "do better", whatever the hell that means. Really though, it is a major plot hole that kinda pulls you out of the story. Once you've combined these characters into one universe, you really can't just put that genie back in the bottle simply because it's a solo movie.

Spider-Man did so much for New York alone and saved numerous lives just in the city, along with the battle with Thanos. Spider-Man is proven to be an excellent superhero who’s done so much for the world, and then a single rumor about a murder causes everyone to act like he’s a villain. Mysterio wasn’t around for long, sure he saved some people here and there, but nothing compared to spider man. A single frantic video broadcast everywhere exposing his identity (which is kind of hero rule number one, don’t expose who you are unless it’s certain people like Tony or others) was really scummy, and his murder didn’t have that much context behind it. All this being said, society immediately ignored all of the evidence of Spider-Man’s innocence and spent 4 whole seconds to forget his multiple heroic deeds and countless lives saved and paint him to be a villain over the questionable death of a single person.

The biggest plothole in this movie is how no one remembers mysterio from when he worked for Stark, who famously sent people like him to all the conventions to show off their new tech before his superhero phase. You'd think employment records and ID badges would be enough to identify him, that's without counting the two dozen accomplices who also just disappeared from the face of the planet.
@guccifer7642 жыл бұрын
Except the legal charges were dropped really quickly. The moment the facts of the case would so much as touch a judge’s desk, it would probably be immediately dismissed. The public on the other hand are stupid. They’ll believe whatever crap they want to, evidence be damned.
@kanemccarthy19792 жыл бұрын
His story was that he was from an alternate dimension though. It wouldn't really matter if they did remember him because he can always say "that's an alternate Quinton Beck." Also they didn't show the trial, that easily could be how Spider-Man won the case.

@@camnunes8847 yeah plus most of his associates were really smart people that at one point worked for Tony until they felt like the got screwed so they could easily erase there own records after he died especially since he ran a company with thousands of employees it easy for people to slip through the cracks and Nick Fury couldn't see through him because he wasn't actually on the planet during the movie it was shape shifters just following his orders

tony gave his illusion tech a go just for experimental purposes. beck never got to the point of being famous. mysterio had both resources and crew to handle these technical details. erasing any information about who quentin beck is quite possible for him
