Gezzy's scoring just wasn't there all tournament. Apparently his arm was bothering him and the fact he still got to runner up shows how good that guy really is. Claytons finishing is always fluid and clean. Glad to see Johnny get some love in 2021.

I thought this might be how it played out. During the tournament, Clayton has made a couple of wee errors, but quickly sorted it out and didn't let it affect his game. He played it ice cold. But what a performance. In this format, even of he'd missed one of those centuryplus checkouts, it could have been, interesting.

He shook his head s few times in disbelief at the checkouts against him, knowing he was a ton per game ahead, and on a double, each of those crucial legs. Would always win on a flying start but he genuinely acknowledged he was on the end of exceptional and pressurised finishing. Fair play to him for that.

What a brilliant game! I knew it was gonna be a binder. And it played out almost exactly how I predicted. Price has been starting slowly, getting behind then lifting his game. His opponents seemed to let the pressure get to them and drop off a bit. Jonny has been starting well, making a couple of errors (his counting mainly) but handling the pressure and holding his form. It was always going to be a cracker! And thats how it played out. Jonny starting better, Price coming back and putting the pressure on and then, wow. Jonny was on another level. In the zone. Fantastic.
