I'm a descent guitar player/musician, 50+years of living and came across this song by pure accident a few years ago. I listened to it today again and it touched something deep inside me. What I'm trying to say is that it made me cry. The tears were honest and left me stunned and thoughtful. Good to know that I still can feel...

I sing this to my rescue bird who was locked in a cage by himself for almost a decade. Now he flies free all day jn my house with his flock of other rescue birds. But his heart still seems broken from of those years of neglect and loneliness. He’s starting to come out of his shell and I noticed he really watches me when I sing this song to him. Badly 🤪 but I love the sentiment and the tune. Thank you for giving the world this lovely and unique song.

This makes a Roy Orbison/K.D. Lang string vibrating inside me. Such a touching voice.
@kendibble996311 ай бұрын
I love that idea. Roy is gone and as much as I loved her performance of Roy's "Crying", I don't think she's right for this song. I wonder...could Bruce Springsteen, now that he's stopped resisting his desire to sing like Roy, do this one justice?

secret heart what are you made of what are you, so afraid of could it be, three simple words or the fear of being overheard whats wrong? let her in on your secret heart secret heart why so mysterious why so secret, why so serious maybe your, just acting tough maybe your just, not man enough whats wrong? let her in on your secret heart. the very secret, your trying to conceal, is the very same one, your dying, to reveal, go tell her how you feel secret heart, come out and share it

+Susan Faw the 6 or so music conglomerates don't want real musical talent to be successful. They are slowly dumbing down each generation to see music, not hear it. That way they can pick/make their own stars with a computer, or something like that, it's hard to put into words and a long very depressing story.

I am into Joe Strummer/Clash,etc and have always loathed love songs and the like...but this guy knows how to write songs that dig deep into any mans heart. Sheer genius and i hope he gets the recognition he deserves one day,but it's a shame that only genuine and the best artists are only appreciated long after they have gone...!
