I don't know, I went to an all girl's Catholic school, we had no idea that reading wasn't supposed to be cool or social. Everyone read, the popular kids, the unpopular kids, the social kids, the shy kids, everyone. It wasn't until I went to a mixed secondary school that I had to start keeping reading a secret.
