When Sammy Gravano speaks he has a look of razor sharp focus. I like that he explains Cosa Nostra and shows that even though as mobsters they were involved in criminal activity they weren't running around behaving like serial killers and animals. There was a structure and rules. Listening to Sammy Gravano is an education

So Sammy , here I was 15 year old working the graveyard shift in Newport , Ky. They called it Sin City. On Monmouth street there was bar after bar ...strip clubs , wide open gambling , open 23 1/2 hours a day. They closed only to restock , sweep n clean up ! The whole city was paid off from the Mayor to judges , to cops , etc , etc. These Mob guys that ran these clubs used to come in the little diner about 3-or4 in the morning . Most of the time they only had coffee . Two or three pots , they usually stayed about an hour , talking about whatever . I loved it because the bill was never more than $5 or $6 bucks but they always left me a$20.00 bill ! I don’t know what their positions were but they always wore suits and guns under their jackets . More the next time ....if you want ?

I just found this channel earlier today and have been binge watching ever since. He should make a movie, it's been a long time since I found a channel I could binge watch. Mr Gravano. I like to hear all of your stories but the ones that hit home the most are your pre mafia stories. They remind me of myself and the guys in my neighborhood. We were street kids in Southwest Detroit. We were involved in lots of craziness in the 90s. I’m a family man now. Made it out of Detroit. Thanks for your stories and taking me back to my time.
