Having fun with the Choyong LC90 after today's firmware update testing out the new features

I updated mine without any problems this afternoon. I do know I can't use my big Alpha Delta dipole as an external antenna on shortwave because it overloads bad. It will take the loop fine. But I don't use this for shortwave much. For SW I use my Icom, rspdx, and Airspy hf+. I like this for internet radio as much as my Ocean Digital.

It took me a while before I pulled the trigger on getting this radio. As each upgrade comes in, I'm more impressed with the potential of this radio and the company behind it. Here is a demo of upgrading to 4.7 and its performance. kzbin.info/www/bejne/r6exgKB6bpime68

Works great but now messages in Chinese just at power up and down. No big deal but for instance at power off it said power off now just Chinese.

what were the steps you used to update the firmware? I have a 32 GB TF card in the radio. When I press OK, though nothing happens

My TF was in the wrong format. Fortunately I had another presumably in the correct format I could use, yay!

Make sure the SD card is formatted in fat32
