you could be missing out on a lot of great friendships with that mindset. I think friendship can be with anyone and has nothing to do with gender. like with their take on the video does that mean you can't be friends with a lesbian because they might have or gain feelings for you too? its not about gender, its about having strong boundaries in friendships with anyone and staying away from people that dont respect them or can't get past their underlying feelings. When the lines are made clear you can have great friendships with anybody even while in a healthy committed relationship. obviously it goes case by case though because taking it too far or wanting to be around that person more or putting more time effort or emotional energy into a friend while in a relationship isnt ok but that goes the same with your girl friends too honestly. but a relationship also shouldn't keep you from having friends and meeting people either. like the type of friendship and boundaries you have goes person to person and is up to you to be clear on/maintain too, if you are around shitty friends then it makes sense to cut that out and have stronger boundaries and standards for the people in your life but that doesn't mean there aren't great guys or people that are healthy, respect boundaries, and don't want more from you than just friendship. plus just because people are attractive or like women doesn't mean every time you have to see them sexually or romantically and shut them down bc you wouldn't be able to control those thoughts or you think u should only be wanting to be around ur bf at all times and think it would go against that just bc they are a guy like at that point thats a personal problem that people need to work through to not sexualize the other gender or feel sexualized by people who could possibly like you because you fit their sexuality like thats not healthy anyway. especially in a relationship like its not like any attractive person of the other gender is now a romantic option thats just not normal!!! and when there is trust you can be friends and do things away from your partner and still trust each other. so many people in the world so many friendships without any sexual connection to be had!!! granted its hard to tell bc lots of guys do suck and cross those lines time and time again so I get it but im just saying the idea of men and women being friends shouldn't be unheard of and shut down because were all just humans and can be great friends with anyone thats good for us and just because some have gone wrong doesn't mean they all would!!!

My personal view on male and female friendship: i will be honest i have never had true male friendship where the guy didn't have other motives and unfortunate it turned me off to the idea of having male friends 😔 which is sad because i enjoy platonic male company. With that being said i'm learning to be okay with male and female friendship as my bf has a few female friends and i genuinely love them and hang out with them as well! So i do think its genuinely possible to be friends with the opposite sex but it all depends on your experience if i'm being honest. I have one singular male friend outside of my bf now.

@roosterparrottjuniour So every one of my previous male friends eventually asked me on a date or they would pull the whole never reach out or text me the second I got into a relationship I would be ghosted and they would only come back around when I was single. It was quite disappointing honestly. I'm not saying these people are bad individuals it just would have been nice to know upfront they had other intentions because I would have made it extremely clear that I'm not entertaining that. Like I said previously tho my bf does have a few female friends and while at first I wasn't a fan I ended up really liking the girls and I saw that he clearly had no interest in them that way. So my viewpoint is slowly changing in regards to platonic friendships with the opposite sex it's just unfortunate I've had a really shitty experience personally.

I personally believe that a relationship mostly depends on communication and trust, if your partner has friends they want to hang out with and Tells you about them, i think its okay, if they have to lie about it, then its a problem but for the most part i believe the more you have mutual friends and get to know the people your partner hangs out with, i think its okay for partners to have same or different gender friends as long as you're both open about it

Yes you should wait to have sex when you’re dating. It’s honestly best to wait until marriage. God intended for us to marry first before intercourse because hes the Creator of us and knows what’s best. Sex is so intimate, sacred and should be meaningful. Sex has become unbelievably devalued. Why commit this act with a man whom wont end up being your husband and can potentially end up getting you pregnant or possibly give you STDs. Women are setting the bar really low for men, they get to do the bare minimum yet have the most intimate part of you with no commitment. Havjng sex with numerous people affects your ability to bond, affects you emotionally and cognitively. To think it has no negative effects on you is foolish thinking. It’s about respecting and valuing yourself. It’s so easy to give into sin and give in to selfish desires than to have restraint, control and discipline. Just because you’re engaged and had sex on the first date does not mean it is right. And sex can always be worked on if it’s not perfect on the first try, so no need to just get it out of the way. Also if you’re getting married at least know the meaning of marriage. Marriage is a sacred covenant between man and woman under GOD.
