No boobs, no curves, and then it’s like I woke up one day and my body had changed. Getting stuff done to your body at that young of an age is always a no for me.

See this is why you dont talk about things that you dont have a wise educated response for when having a podcast like having conversations shouldn't just be like blank unintentional statements, it should be intentional and purposeful and thought provoking. so with that said, its important to talk about how you dont NEED plastic surgery to make you happy or to love yourself but if you WANT to and have the means to and feel like it will save your mental health then yes go for it and dont judge people for it. However we need to get to the point in society where we take the emphasis off looks so much and let women and young girls know that they dont NEED it and theres so much more to you/women/people than how you look. plenty of studies have shown that people who think getting plastic surgery will fix them or make them happier tend to actually be more unhappy after the surgery(s) because they still feel the same on the inside and theres still the dysmorphia and societal pressures and self esteem issues and often times they will feel they need more and more and dont even actually know what they look like anymore so they take it too far or are just still unhappy and now recovering from intense procedures or still not knowing how to love themselves or being confused by the change in treatment from others or just still feel empty and not good enough inside, like even the women that just feel like they need to get fillers and other beauty maintenance all the time, that distracts them from their life and leaves them feeling not enough still always needing more and constantly still focusing on/chasing looks to feel enough or for external validation and thats just sad and miserable and we shouldn't need to normalize this!!! We need to shift how we talk about these topics, letting women know they need to find the love and happiness within and BEFORE/WITHOUT looks and changing looks and putting emphasis on what you need to change and figure out who you are without the external pressures, what you like, what you deserve and your worth outside of material things. the issue isn't insecurities needing a quick fix, the issue is society FORCING the insecurities on women without a choice and creating mass dysmorphia/disorders. its a mental health issue and plastic surgery is a money making scheme that exploits peoples insecurities and they are making bank by other people encouraging and enabling this false idea that it will "solve" insecurities even though its just creating more!!!! We need to change how we help people mentally not just always find temporary fixes that cover up what's going on inside. we need to build the confidence back in women and who we are as humans not as objects!!!!

I stopped the video at 4:53 when Claudia said what she said because I was so fucking shocked, literally my heart dropped. I already unfollowed her on TikTok and Instagram few months ago when she showed her support to Israel. Honestly at that time I didn’t think much of it. I was disappointed sure, because I really liked her and used to relate to her on certain levels. But I just thought that she was uneducated and basically followed what other influencers were sharing at that time. I mean yeah, it’s dumb but still. I can understand it. But what she said in this video literally shocked me. How can someone be so brainwashed ? How can someone be so out of touch with reality ? She claims to be smart because of her nursing degree, but she keeps proving how uneducated and brainwashed she is. I can understand that it’s how she was raised, but it’s different now and she can easily see the truth. She can easily educate herself. And Kennedy, even more disappointed of her. I thought she was the smart one and would educate her family, but no unfortunately. I’m not even going to talk about their mom and brother. I heard that the mom actually posted about her support to Israel, which absolutely disgusted me. I always thought she was super cool and a great mother, but apparently I was wrong. She is an awful person. I really loved this family and wanted to keep following them, so I kinda of was excusing their behaviours each time they did something wrong. But I can’t do this anymore. Enough is enough. I’m completely done with them. They probably won’t even see my comment and even if they did, I know they won’t give a shit. People like them care only about themselves apparently. But it’s important for me to say what I think. I know they are going to call me a hater, because that’s what influencers do nowadays when being called out, and in that case, I’m the proudest hater. I was raised to always stand with justice and be the voice of the oppressed and that’s what I’ll always do. No matter what. It’s scary to think that these people are the futur, these people are gonna have kids and raise them with those beliefs. It’s sickening.

You may give him the benefit of the doubt and maybe he was referring to gamification of certain domains helps you figure out how to best optimise your desired outcome. That being said, I do believe the Walsh family represents the Godlessness of America to date, with the advent of Kardashians and social media as they are essentially the generation influenced by the first mainstream iteration of the internet all grown up. I think give it a few years and Brandon will realise this way of thinking is basically just being NPC. It’s funny because he referred to trends when it comes to fashion etc. But does he realise the trends in dogmatic thinking which his family and him have picked up- not many original thoughts aside from Papa Walsh

Honestly don’t know how Brandon survives. I feel like he might be a bit autistic, but high functioning. strangely enough, I think their mother has the most respect for men out of the three women in their immediate family. I love Papa Walsh- he’s an absolute character- but sadly I’d say he’s done a disservice by not providing a good role model under which his daughters respect men, more especially good men. I also feel for Jesse- he’s a smart kid. Tbf, we only get glimpses of these women via what they put out, but a podcast space is an interesting dynamic in the sense that your content is your actual thoughts and opinions. Maybe Jesse sees something in her that we don’t. Strange that for a man who could get almost any women he picks one who doesn’t have a good father figure and doesn’t have a good sense of respect for men in general. Anyways, I’m just an internet stranger, just my opinion, although necessarily a wholly positive one.

What Brandon is saying actually does make sense for social media, not necessarily life though. social media like most apps when iPhones became a thing, started out as something like a games. You are completing actions to get rewards, dopamine. Now it has grown even more to influencers and being able to make money. When many people try to become influencers, they are playing a game to see how high they can get, what rewards they can achieve. At the end of the day social media was created to entertain and bring pleasure, it’s a big game that now has a much bigger sphere, weather or not you enjoy it(which of course most people do as it’s literally created to bring pleasure and focuses entirely on the self).

My perspective on the Walsh family, from binging their content the last 2 months or so [watched a helluva lot] 1. Papa Walsh. Absolute legend (from a comedic standpoint) and arguably the star of their whole family. Clearly very smart, but also very egotistical and sadly a poor father figure. Just to be clear, I by no means think he is a good human being whatsoever- just likeable as a character because he doesn’t care and has no filter 2. Jen. Very good heart, but not the brightest bulb. Picked papa Walsh as a partner and posts only fans content for money and claims spirituality (disconnect there?). She’s also pretty superficial- even in her later years, seems like she prioritised looks over values, relationship-after-relationship despite having 3 kids. 3. Brandon Walsh. Potentially high functioning autistic. Got a bit of brains from Papa Walsh but not nearly as smart. Really good mindset and ambitious (clearly not afraid to take risks and go outside the norm). Biggest pro is his mindset. Able to try look objectively at situations- believe he’s trying to mitigate mistakes his parents made as he clearly viewed them as flawed very early on. His overall video ideas are very mid and not very original imo. Have never seen/heard an original thought from him. Often times I saw him spend money on horrible concepts with very little payoff, from a viewer perspective. Great brother and son though as he changed every single family member’s life we see here today, mainly capitalising on their looks and dysfunctional nature- should’ve made his dad the star of the show. Curious to see if even in his romantic relationships now he finds partners who disrespect him verbally to be endearing because that’s the love and affection he’s used to. 4. Claudia. Most interesting thing about her is her boyfriend, Jesse. Don’t know if it’s prescriptive meds, but her personality seems blunted. Also very, very materialistic. Self-admittedly, she doesn’t even really enjoy being in Brandon’s videos but does it for publicity for her own Personal brand I guess. Can sense she can’t wait for the shooting to be over. If it’s a job, then understand part of the nature of this social media job in particular, is to not make it evident you view creating content as a burden. Curious why Jesse chose her, and that’s the beauty behind humans- you can’t really glean their core essence from internet videos. Anyways, I respect her somewhat because she attracted Jesse, who could have partnered with most women in the world (also makes me question Jesse’s taste). Time will tell which category it falls into based on whether they stay married or not. I think she will make a good mother. 5. Kennedy. In touch with emotions but very emotional (polar opposite to Brandon?) and very creative. Probably due to divorce, all she knows is her mother and also her mother’s suffering at the hands of men, coupled with school bulling, which led to her becoming very jaded towards men. Best male role model she had was Brandon and more recently Jesse. Despite this, she puts down Brandon and lifts up Claudia and Jen disproportionately. Main thing she commends Brandon on is his hard work and business sense- he did put his family in the position they are in. Even Claudia and Jesse meeting was on Brandon. He should be given way more respect overall. He’s probably so used to this kind of treatment that it’s a normalised display of love and affection for him. I think Brandon will realise in his later years, more especially when he starts ‘gamifying’ the family domain that it is not a healthy sibling relationship to cultivate. Kennedy is relatively entitled and hope she will mature significantly over the coming years as she definitely has a strong self-reflective side due to her own insecurities and attempting to overcome them. Overall, the whole Walsh family although attractive and being a true ‘American Dream’ story going from very middle class to very wealthy, show very questionable moral sense across the board. I feel the Walsh family are truly representative of the problems underlying America today- hedonism, materiality and adopting spirituality and the likes when it suits them (in Papa Walsh’s case he’s an atheist, which may even be worse, but ties in with the egotistical side) . Best thing about them is their strong sense of family and holding it down, despite their parents rarely interacting. Reiterating, I believe Brandon and his siblings had to raise themselves up to some degree, given that their parents were shown to be imperfect individuals very blatantly early on in their lives, hence they adopted the 21st century modern, hedonistic American value system, on a strict diet of internet and American media. I enjoy watching the podcast when I need to switch my brain off. They aren’t really clued up on any topic in particular- nothing is really an original thought or idea whatsoever. Best part of the podcast is their dynamic with each other- not necessarily what they’re saying. You won’t gleam gems from here. The general audience they have cultivated is most certainly very low-mid IQ, which includes myself. Edit: Didn’t write this as a hit piece- just an observation from my perspective, lived experience and the content they’ve put out. Curious if anybody has similar/differing thoughts on the image that has been cultivated towards their viewers? Maybe we can view this as a ‘PR exercise’.

It's pretty wild to write all of this just from videos but overall I think you are more or less correct although you definitely got some stuff wrong. First Papa Walsh is not a legend, he's entertaining and that's probably the only good thing about him lol. He's almost certainly a narcissist for all the stories we have heard of and overall just a piece of shit. Definitely smart but that's all. For Jen I agree mostly, but I think at least for her last relationship she chose her partner for the right reasons Agree also on Brandon, he definitely capitalized on the look of his family but I don't think he did that on purpose, like I think they just made and make videos because they liked it. Like I think he would be on KZbin even if they were all ugly Claudia is definitely really materialistic and superficial, but I also think she has a good heart and she's really caring, that's probably why Jesse likes her. I think Kennedy definitely acknowledges how good of a brother Brandon his, like 3 or 4 years ago she didn't do that much, but in the recent years she did for sure and they seem to have a really nice bond, plus they have the same sense of humor, where they jokingly insult each other, while this doesn't really happen with jen and Claudia. Also I think her hatred towards men is fading over the years, like I think she used to generalize a lot probably because of previous experiences but now you can see that she's maturing a lot and she's starting to be more objective. I really think she's getting to a good understanding of life in general and she always have interesting takes on stuff on the podcast. I tend to agree with the overall analysis, they are really tied to the American way of thinking, but I think at least Brandon and Kennedy seem to be slowly drifting a little bit away from that. The podcast is really nice to watch, of course most of the stuff are not really original thoughts as they are not philosophers, but they bring up good points and their discussions are really interesting, as between each other they often have different ideas and you get to understand the point of view of people really different from what I'm used to and with a different background. Plus I've been following them for I think around 6 years and it's nice to see them change and grow up kinda together as I'm the same age of Kennedy

Tony Robbins talks about how whatever you see life as, is the way you'll experience it. He even gave viewing it as a game as an example, but Claudia's right, some people see it as a journey, a gift, a struggle, ect.

I agree that people should be able to do what they want and more power to them with a plastic surgery but I also think hell to the no for myself I'm blessed with what God gave me and I'm happy with it even the parts I'm not thrilled about I've learned to accept that that's the way I was created and nobody's ever going to be 100% happy with how they are it's just how it is

Last little thing I would say is that the stigma that comes with plastic surgery as well as that anybody who has it where it's noticeable at least they are called fake so is that really any better than the original misconception you have about yourself? You always view yourself differently than others will view you and what's worse being called fake and made fun of because you get the plastic surgery or the original issue? I mean really I'd rather stay all natural then not but that's just me

I love how feminist this group is. All of you. Claudia, Jen, Kennedy, Brandon. But I also love how Brandon (the only guy) challenges the group. He is definitely also a feminist. But he is clearly often coming into the conversation from a typical guy-viewpoint, a feminist guy that is. Of course I don't want the group to fight. But I did like how Brandon stood his ground. It makes for interesting conversations and it brings balance. Keep it up! 🎉

Life is a test from Allah (God). Every difficulty, hardship, and challenge we face is an opportunity for us to demonstrate our faith, patience, and trust in Allah's plan. The Quran mentions that we are tested in various ways to see how we respond and to help us grow spiritually. A Quranic reference that supports this concept is: “And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient."_ (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:155) This verse emphasizes that life’s challenges are a form of test, and patience is key to enduring them.

Kennedy has a really good take on an emotional/empathetic perspective, but it’s very clear she has some kind of jaded bias to men. She paints men out to be demonic spawn and women to be perfect angels. Reality is we are more similar than we are different and are humans, which means we are inherently imperfect. Sex and behaviour is a lot more nuanced than people think. Brandon has a beautiful family, but I don’t think I would survive my close sibling thinking the worst of my sex- I would personally internalise that a lot. Brandon is clearly built different and seems to have a very positive outlook on life, even taking bad experiences as a good life lesson. Really hope Kennedy grows out of this ‘black and white’ painting off men and women. They say behind every great man is a great woman. Perhaps, it’s also worth considering the opposite is true too… food for thought. Not blaming women at all, but again it’s more nuanced than men=bad; women=good

I respect what Kennedy says about having the same features as her family. I've thought over and over about having lip filler because my upper lip is thin. But I have the same mouth as my family- and I would never ever think they need lip filler. Also, a lot of the people I find attractive have thinner lips so why would I change something that I see as attractive on someone else? The beauty standard is big lips but we shouldn't all look like replicas of each other. Also, Claudia is beautiful. She just needs to be aware that filler needs to be dissolved before being 'topped up' otherwise it will migrate into other areas of her face. Kylie Jenner's unfiltered photos are a good example. She's getting 'pillow face' and is a similar age to Claudia.
