Great information, thanks for posting. I like your videos but I was a bit disappointed in this one with the damage the bike caused to an historic site. Steps were meant for walking not riding on. I think we all need to be mindful of damage we can cause.

Thanks for the comment. We had a discussion at the bottom of Hamburger Hill about this. So it was considered. To this day, I am not sure my logic is reasonable or not. But this was the thought process used. The site is clearly abandoned (for years). With no signs of resurrection. The steps are not part of the history. These are just already destroyed steps made for tourism purposes. Nothing special about them. If this site ever became active again, these steps would be remade. Had the steps been part of an ancient temple, or part of the actual tourist attraction. Then I never would have ridden up them. We kept to the steps, and didn't detour on the bikes into any natural area that I would consider part of the history. For those upset at the driving up Hamburger Hill, sorry about that.

Its a abandoned stair to a largely abandoned hill in a middle of knowhere, I doubt any Vietnamese would care.

I actually hiked those steps in February. I parked my tigit xr150 at the bottom. I saw ruts and I wondered who was crazy enough to ride up here. 😅
